[Aluminum] High accurate, phenomenal monitor. We have both the Vision 17 and Vision 24 and they complement each other well, with the 24 being the display with true 10-bit color versus 8+2 on the Vision 17, although honestly I can't see the difference in real world use. There really isn't much competition for 4K HDR reference-grade monitors that can be battery powered and are suitable for both color-critical post production and production on set or in the field. These monitors are it! Like all SmallHD monitors they are easy to use and loaded with just about every tool you could want. IMPORTANT NOTE: SmallHD very unhelpfully changed the specs at the 11th hour after release and the Vision 24 can only be powered by 26v batteries (and also A/C). It cannot be powered by 14v batteries as the dual battery plate (not included) description implies. If you are using dual voltage CoreSWX Helix batteries, you will need an adaptor plate to activate the 26v mode.

[Aluminum] Saw this in Africa recently on a BBC truck on the same Canon CN20x50 Cine Lens. Mine at home did not have the handle that is made in Germany. So I called the company and they said I could get it at B&H. Wow not really a surprise since B&H has everything! Anyway this handle is a quality piece of gear for the lens. Screws are included along with simple instructions. Makes the lens much easier and, more importantly, safer to handle. Like I said, a must!

[Aluminum] Using it with my Cine18. Works fine but I wish the end attached to the brick was a little longer. I have my monitor on a cart and the brick ends up hanging. Nothing a little velcro can't solve.

[8.66 lb] As a full-time 1st AC who loves his 1303, this monitor ticks all the boxes with all the new features I was looking for. They really thought of everything you may need.

[Aluminum] It's what I expected. Straightforward product.

[Aluminum] The Cine 18 is a super solid purchase for those who need a trustworthy image on set, a deep feature set and the need to view multiple feeds simultaneously. I found the quad split mode absolutely invaluable to 3 camera interview setups, where a quick false color toggle allowed me to make sure the 3 different cameras had matched exposures. The ability to mix the HDMI input with the SDI inputs was particularly helpful, and while the SmallHD OS can be complicated at times, the deep well of features and options come in very handy (image overlay is great for matching frames). In addition, the monitor is lightweight with great mounting options.

My only significant complaint is SmallHD no longer sells a clear screen protector, so the monitor is naked on set, which is a recipe for disaster. I ended up getting on custom made by Jim Candreva, which saved the day.

[8.66 lb] I am a full time focus puller and Ive been using my 1303 HDR as my full time focus monitor. After seeing the 13 cine 4k being used by a fellow focus puller, I bit the bullet and purchased the monitor. The 1303 HDR is a workhorse. But there is a huge difference between the two. I am Absolutely loving the monitor. Ultra bright, Crisp Image, awesome contrast. If you are a focus puller don't even think twice about it. Game changer. Pulling focus out in the bright sunlight, this monitor stands on its own without the need for a hood. Premium monitor! Overall great piece of gear especially for focus.

[8.66 lb] Absolutely loving this Cine 13. Beautiful panel (albeit crunchy as with most SmallHDs). On SmallHD 1303s I had noticed a faint diagonal pattern on the panel, and the Cine 13 has none of that.

Very solid construction, feels like it'll be as durable as I need it to be on set. The ARCA Swiss dovetail on the back is handy. Many many mounting points for various accessories. I particularly love the cheese rail on the bottom of the monitor - handy for mounting my focus hand unit. And I love how thin the monitor is on the whole.

My only REAL gripe with it is the new joystick / style - the joystick is recessed into a rotating wheel. The wheel can be used to scroll through most things (which is great) but when I need to use the joystick it can be hard to move directionally without clicking the center / enter button.

Small insignificant gripes: the standard screen protector has some thin plastic pieces that feel like they will break easily. There's a small sliding door on the front of the monitor that also feels thin and fragile. There's a pattern (solely aesthetic) in the front face's plastic on the lower right that imitates a speaker grate, but is easily marred because it's so fine. The fan on the back of the monitor makes a faint warbly whirring sound.

But overall, absolutely loving this monitor!
