A: No, the Atomos NEON 17" 4K HDR Monitor/Recorder is not Atomos connect enabled. The Atomos Ninja and Shogun are the only two options now that support Atomos Connect.

[Aluminum] I just received my Neon 24, after waiting for over a year. For the past 7 years, I've been relying on color timing with a Flanders Scientific CM-171. This Atomos monitor is the best image I have ever seen. I'm seeing things in my grade I've never noticed before. And I am referring to SDR grading. I haven't even scratched the surface of the HDR capability, yet. All in all, a bit pricey, but, I think the cost is quite worth the image quality. 5

[Aluminum] It's a fantastic SDR/HDR monitoring solution at a great price point. I'd only ask for the ability to adjust the viewing angle on a flat surface. That said I couldn't argue with the features, given the price points of other HDR monitors on the market. I'm very satisfied. It's pictured below with color bars. 5

[7.335 lb] Hi guys, for those of you who encountered Magenta or Red tint, it's probably because it is in the DCI-P3 colorspace. Switch it to Rec709 and you should see the familiar colors. 5

[Aluminum] I researched for V-mount and external battery power options and could not find any information other than runs on mains. I have a Sumo 19 and love it, it runs on external batteries. But it is just too large to lug around on those light gigs. I take my Samuri 7 but its small. Since the Sumo runs on Batts I figures the Neon 17 would as well. I did not expect the 25 and up to run on externals but the 17? I received the Neon 17 its nice 4 sure. But its 19v, so no way to run in on batteries. I did receive and email from Atomos, and I have to say they are great, they did confirm the Maines power, meaning plug it in or on a geni. Well now I know what that means. So Neons do not have an external battery option just an fyi. 5
