Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. does this diffuser work with the first version of the bender?
A: It 'works' but not well. The light isn't particularly diffused. The flash bender is awesome - I can bounce a flash even under the stars: I use it ALL the time. But the diffusion is not particularly good.
Q: 2. How many gel bands are included? The photos show 3, but the description spells it singular (and doesn't mention what size from the ones showed on the photos).
A: Three gel bands are included, two large blue ones and one gold small one.
Q: 3. Will this work with a Godox AD100?
A: The Rogue Photographic Design Flash Gel Lens will indeed work with the Godox AD100.
Q: 4. How much light fall-off is caused by Rogue soft boxes?
A: ExpoImaging does not list how much fall off the panel blocks of light. An average, diffusion panels like this are around 1-1.5 stops fall off.
Q: 5. Are these filters marked so you can see if it's a 1/4 CTO, etc?
A: Rogue Photographic Design Rogue Gels are each labeled with color, color correction value, and f/stop loss values.
Q: 6. Will these fit the Yongnuo YN560 flash?
A: Yes, they are compatible with the YN560.
Q: 7. What material are these made of?
A: This is made of high quality solid K9 Optical Glass material. K9 is a Chinese Optical Borosilicate Crown Crystal (Optically Clear) with low inclusions and imperfections ideal for use in lenses and prisms, optics and decorative crystal lighting. K9 crystal offers a high refractive index and high clarity.
Q: 8. Does this Prism contain lead?
A: No.
Q: 9. Will these fit a Nikon SB-900?
A: This is a great kit. And yes it will fit.... The kit comes with a rubber band that that expands over the largest eat strobes and comes in a really nice envelope that divides the various colors... Another great feature is that each gel tells you the f differential so you have a starting point to correct your exposure
Q: 10. Will this fit a Godox TT350?
A: Starting in September 2020 each set of Rogue Flash Gels was packaged to include 3x Rogue Gel Bands to attach the gels to a flash, including 2x Blue (standard size flashes) and 1x Gold (small flashes). The Blue Rogue Gel Band is sized for standard size flashes, including the Canon 430EX, Canon 580EX, Godox V860, Nikon SB 500, Nikon SB910, etc. The Gold Rogue Gel Band is sized for small mirrorless camera flashes, including the Godox TT350, Nissin i400, Nissin i40, etc. The Rogue Flash Gels will be larger than necessary to cover the face of the Godox TT350 flash, but they can be easily trimmed or creased as desired.
