Featuring one camera sensor optimized for daylight photography and another designed for sharp photos after dark, the Bushnell Core DS-4K No-Glow Trail Camera Camofrom Bushnell will capture vivid images and video of activity on your property or hunting grounds. Featuring a fast 0.2-second trigger speed and 110' infrared flash, the Core DS-4K produces motion-activated 32MP photos and 4K 30 fps video. Choose to have the camera operate during the day, at night, or both, and take 1-6 photos per trigger. The Field Scan mode will grab a shot at user-selectable intervals for time-lapse surveillance. You can choose from four trigger sensitivity settings, which can cut down on unnecessary shots, and set the interval between triggered captures from 0.6 seconds to 60 minutes to avoid clogging up your card with redundant images. The date, time, temperature, moon phase, and GPS coordinates are stamped on the photos along with a user-set camera name. Video clips can be up to 60 seconds in length.

The Core DS-4K can be mounted with the included web belt, using the tripod socket on its base, or your own security cable via built-in channel. An external power port is supplied for Bushnell's separately sold solar panel. The camera records to a user-supplied SD card up to 512GB, but you can also review images and videos in the field on the 1.5" viewing screen.

Q: 9. The night pictures are poor. The image data says it used a 1 second exposure. The ISO setting was 50, which is fine for a sunny day at the beach, but not at night. am I missing a setting to raise the ISO?

A: Page 32 &33 of the manual: 1. Night photos or videos appear too dark a. Check the battery indicator icon to see if battery power is full. The flash will stop operating near the end of the battery life. b. You will get the best results when the subject is within the ideal flash range, no farther than 100 ft/30m. Subjects may appear too dark at greater distances. c. Please note that when the Capture Number parameter is set higher than "1 Photo", or with very short Interval settings, some images may appear darker than others due to the quick response and rapid retriggering of the camera, allowing less time for the flash to fully recharge before firing again. d. Make sure "LED Control" in the setup menu is set to "High" to ensure maximum output. You can also try setting "NV Shutter" in the menu to "Low" (slower shutter speed=brighter images, with tradeoff of increased blur if subject moves rapidly). e. The ARD (anti-reflective device) shield can be removed to maximize flash output. See page 28 for more details. I saw no reference in the manual in selecting ISO

[IR LEDs] The Bushnell Core DS-4K No-Glow trail camera captures high resolution images, especially with the daytime camera. Some reviews say that the screen size is small, which is true. However, if one reads the owner's manual first, one can make many of the settings at home before going out into the field. In the field the screen is fine for making minor changes. The unit has functioned well in temperatures well below freezing and I haven't needed to change the batteries yet. The unit feels well made.

[32 MP] I bought this for property security. And I am not an authority on trail cameras. I will say this camera has a lot of features which I was looking for in a non cellular security camera. The menu is versatile and it is easy to navigate.

[Yes] I have been using trail cameras for about 20 years going back to 35mm trail cameras I used to import from the USA to my home in Canada. Gota say the 35mm pictures were amazing and I still have many pictures blown up to poster size on my walls at home. But, the best modern trail cameras are Bushnell & some higher end Primos in my view. I have purchased about 15 digital trail cameras over the years and am an avid Youtuber and wildlife researcher. Bushnell has good picture/video quality, long lasting and rugged and no silly firmware updates like other companies. Caution, never purchase any camera that requires computer plug in firmware updates. Peace & love.

[32 MP] I love Bushnell cameras.
I have purchased several Bushnell trail cameras over the years and they are great quality and easy to use. They produce great quality footage.
Even though I think you can't get them here, I recommend to purchase a compatible security box, so they don't get stolen.

[Yes] Great quality pictures and videos. It's much smaller than my previous game cam, which I like.
