There is also a TF card reader near the battery slots to offload your footage to a computer via the USB port. Two cards can also store in the lid using the provided slots. It has an IP54 water-resistant outer shell and fire-retardant interior lining, and it features a handy carry loop on top.

[ 5 VDC at 2 A] Using 16 GP Hero 8 units, we shoot dirt track racing. A battery door is necessary to keep it in the camera while pulling all of the G-forces. The standard battery will not last a full race @ 4K. This little door allows us to use external power sources, keep the card & battery secured, and the camera guts sealed from the dust. 5
