[0.3 lb] Since gopro decided it would be a good idea to remove the replaceable front lens on the hero8, its a good idea to invest in this. Keep your gopro safe from the knuckleheaded delicious of gopro marketing. 5

[148' / 45 m] This offers some protection for the HERO8 and fixes the only real complaint I read about the HERO8 which was that the lens glass wasn't replaceable. I did not notice any reduction in video quality in outside shots with good lighting. I did not try low light conditions. 5

[4.9 x 4.1 x 2"] Definitely worth getting to protect the camera, especially the lens and, to some extent, the touchscreen. Putting it on the camera is like pulling on a wetsuit; it stretches easily and fits snugly. Helpful hint: hold on to the lens cover when putting on/taking off the case so it doesn’t pop out. 5
