This 10-stop, 62mm Haida NanoPro Magnetic ND Filter 62mm 10-Stopfrom Haida NanoPro Magnetic ND Filter 62mm 10-Stopprovides a 10-stop reduction the amount of light passing through your lens. Increasing neutral density offers control in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase motion blur to create special effects or convey a sense of movement. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background by creating shallow depth of field without overexposing your image.

This magnetic filter attaches to an included adapter ring that screws onto the front filter ring of your lens, and can easily be swapped out.The adapter ring has both front and rear threads and accepts a standard threaded lens cap as well as a Haida magnetic lens caps, allowing you to leave the ring on your lens. The ND3.0 filter features glass optics with a top coating that protects against water, oil, dust, fingerprints, and scratches.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit a Sony FE4/24-105 G OSS lens with 77mm diameter? Or do you recommend 67-82 VND filter?

A: For the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS Lens you can go with either the 58-77mm or the 67-82mm size. The H&Y Filters RevoRing Variable ND3-ND1000 & Circular Polarizer Filter (67-82mm) would definitely work for that lens. I would choose the size based on what other lenses one may want to use this on.

Q: 2. Will this fit the Sony FE 600mm f/4 OSS GM telephoto lens?

A: No, the Haida M10-II Drop-In ND6.0 (1,048,576X) One Million X Edition Nano-Coated ND Filter for M10-II Filter Holder will not be able to work on the Sony FE 600mm f/4 OSS GM lens, as that lens does not except screw-on attachments.

Q: 3. How does the filter attach to the lens?

A: There is an 82mm screw at the bottom.

Q: 4. Can you attach this to a lens with a UV filter?

A: The H&Y Filters RevoRing Variable ND3-ND1000 & Circular Polarizer Filter (58-77mm) is designed to go onto a lens with out a filter on the lens.

Q: 5. Will Attach a magnetic filter like the K&F magnetic 82mm filters?

A: The H&Y Filters RevoRing Variable ND3-ND1000 & Circular Polarizer Filter (67-82mm) is a screw on filter and not magnetic.

Q: 6. Is this filter showing some kind of pattern when going to higher ND stops?

A: No this does not. It has stops to make sure one does not go beyond the usable range of the filter.

Q: 7. How this fits on lenses with filter sizes from 67-82mm? There is no info here.

A: The H&Y Filters Revoring 67-82mm Variable Neutral Density Nd3-Nd1000 And Circular Polarizer Filter has a patent-pending variable and tough retractable blade technology designed to allow the filter to fit any lens with filter thread sizes between 67 - 82mm without the need of adapter rings or step-up rings. You would twist the outer edge of the Revoring and the threads expand or contract to connect to the filter threads on the front of your lens.

Q: 8. Does this product have filter threads on front for attaching something like a mattebox?

A: The H&Y Filters RevoRing Variable ND3-ND1000 & Circular Polarizer Filter (67-82mm) does not have front filter threads.

Q: 9. I have a 55mm and a 67 mm diameter lens. could I use a step down adapter along with 58-77 mm Revoring. Or would you have other suggestions?

A: The H&Y Filters RevoRing Variable ND3-ND1000 & Circular Polarizer Filter (67-82mm) will fit on your lens with 67mm filter threads. To use it on your lens with 55mm filter threads, get the Sensei PRO 55-67mm Brass Step-Up Ring. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/3XoPeoY.

Q: 10. Will this fit a Canon RF 24-105? Do i need to take the UV filter too attach it?

A: We suggest the following unit as the canon 24-70mm has a 77mm thread. H&Y Filters RevoRing Variable ND3-ND1000 & Circular Polarizer Filter (58-77mm) BH #HYVNDCP5877 • MFR #RNC77 https://bhpho.to/3j3rfZo

[Glass] I've been using my new Hasselblad X1D II for about six months, and needed to improve the prospects of sky effects, as Scott Kelby discusses in his classes. This filter provides that capability for the XCD lenses

[62 mm] I have had the Lee Filters NDs for several years, and after trying Haida's 6 and 10 stop filters I will not go back. The Haida ND filters have a more natural color balance then the Lee. I had purchased their filter holder system as well but I didn't like it and kept my Lee holder system. This filter does work in the Lee holder though it does fits very tightly, not necessarily a bad thing as it is light tight. I am very pleased with these filters!

[62 mm] Works well. Just remember that if you are focusing through the lens, do it before you put on the filter. Once the filter is attached there is nothing but black in the viewfinder.

[0.145 lb] Very thin and high quality construction. Image sharpness was not affected on my Sony a7riii and 100-400 GM. No color cast whatsoever. I took pictures of my Xrite Color Checker with and without the filter, and there is no visible difference between the 2 profiles.

[0.145 lb] Excellent materials of construction, a high quality glass, compared to other higher cost filters, has a very exact control of color casts. For the price and quality it has, I recommend it is worth it.

[Glass] Works as expected, but keep in mind most neutral density filters have some color cast.

[62 mm] I did a lot of research before deciding on Haida's filter set. The Haida filters are top quality at a slightly affordable price. I would highly recommend the Haida filter to other users.

[Glass] Purchased the 6 and 10 stop versions to pair with the Kase K9 holder. Both of these filters create superb results with no loss in sharpness and no color cast whatsoever. Made the switch from a screw-on variable density that always caused problems under bright and side lighting conditions. These allow very accurate control of exposure to create blurred water / clouds. Easy to clean and sheds water well. Great value.
