This PTZ camera is designed to capture and live stream up to 1080p video and be remotely controlled over serial, IP, and the Dante AV serial-over-IP protocol. It seamlessly fits right into an existing Dante AV ecosystem and allows you to utilize a separately available network decoder to transport, route, and decode video for network presentations.

The D220 series camera features a 1/2.8" HD CMOS sensor to capture resolutions up to 1080p60. The built-in zoom lens has an optical zoom range of 20x, and you can zoom in further with the 2x digital zoom. The camera offers multiple video output options including HDMI and RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet that supports RTMP/RTSP streaming and Dante AV IP output. There are several options to control the camera remotely, including RS-232/RS-422 serial control, IP control, and the included IR remote. It supports up to 128 presets and supports VISCA-over-IP, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, Pelco-P, Pelco-D, Onvif, and Dante AV protocols.

With 128 programmable preset positions and 6 presets on the included IR remote, you can set the camera to rapidly move between positions using the IP, RS-232, RS-422/RS-485, or IR control with separately available controllers. The camera compresses using MJPEG or H.264, and you can transmit up to three streams at the same time using RTSP or RTMP protocols up to 1080p60. The camera supports external audio input via a 3.5mm stereo mic/line-level jack, and it transports AAC-LC embedded audio.

The camera can be powered using PoE++ or with the included AC adapter. The camera's body is made from lightweight, durable magnesium alloy, and it can sit on a flat surface or be mounted using a separately available ceiling or wall mount bracket.

A: The AViPAS AV-1562 SDI/HDMI/USB PTZ Camera can be driven via Cat 5 or Cat 6. Cat 6 Ethernet cables support data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps (10GBASE-T) for distances up to approximately 180 feet. Cat 5E cables can support Gigabit speeds but at a shorter distances (up to 5GBASE-T).

[f/1.5 to 3] I own one of these CV620's and three of the CV620IP's and I like this one the best. Even though the cameras are the same model with the exception of the added IP functionality, the CV620 outperforms the IP model when it comes to silky smooth panning and tilting. If you want to be able to slowly and smoothly move your camera LIVE at full zoom, then the CV620 is the one for you. 5

[0.5 Lux] This was purchased for a church to stream services. We wanted 3 angles and so this was perfect. We added in an ATEM switcher and off we went. These cameras are easily set up with SDI cables and simple ethernet cables. Word of advice, the controller MUST be a similar IP as the cameras to work. By default it is nowhere near the cameras IP range. The cameras perform well in our lighting which I expect with the lens quality on these. I do get flares from bright lights which might can be fixed in the settings. Our total cost came out to slightly over $5000 for everything. You don't need a computer if you get a high end ATEM switcher, only a good monitor or TV which we had laying around. 5

[NC35] As another reviewer stated, the CV620 outperforms the 620IP in every way with regard to movement. The pan, tilt, and zoom functions rival professional broadcast cams, and definitely outpace the IP version. If you have no need of IP, consider this version and save some $$$. 5

[50 dB] This camera is great! It is not one of the most feature rich, but to me it matched exactly what I needed, and paired with obs, a couple of obs plugins and an app called touchportal, I am now able to do complex scene transitions and even animations between this camera and a fixed wide-shot camera with the click of a button. If you will buy this, do take extra care with the lower-than-normal max zoom level and tilt extents (to me it was perfectly fine, but it may not be for you) 5

[11.53 lb] Being a first time user of a PTZ camera I had no idea what go expect. The AV-1081 is a feature loaded camera. I mounted it upside down in our church and it automatically flipped the image. The quality of the image is superb! Despite a low lit stage, the image looks like we have special lighting and the temperature can be adjusted to colour correct for the lighting we do have. It looks like it uses a Pelco processing engine which is an industry standard for security cameras.The PTZ function is dead quiet and the supplied remote works fine; albeit, a joystick controller is recommended for zooming and moving the camera head around. Totally recommend this unit. 5
