[0.495 lb] I was looking for an invisible selfie stick for my Insta360 x3 camera and only knew of Insta360 options (they alone have like 3-4). I was seeking advice from a B&H employee about which one to buy and the gentleman recommended me Ulanzi MT-58. He was kind enough to show me all of them (open boxes and extend) and I couldn't belive that Ulanzi felt more premium than 1st party options. I don't know how they would be in long term use but Ulanzi showed to be really easy to extend, made of high quality materials and suffered the beating on hiking, sand and dust from a safari, salt water and sand from a beach, all of that and more on my Sri Lankan holiday. The icing on the cake was that it cost less than a cheapest 1st party option, less than 20$. Amazing value! 5

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Perfect as a backpacking tripod, sturdy, and strong. It is stable and the extension is tight, to support to a DSLR. The Ball head is solid. I bought it as a mic stand for a wireless go type of mic, or as a camera tripod for blogging. 5

[Aluminum] I wouldn't call myself a huge fan, but it's solid and is great for a cell phone desk tripod. I wouldn't use it with anything heavier than that, but the ball mount is good and it folds down well. With tripods, you get what you pay for, and the MT-16 overdelivers on that front. 5
