The softbox has a large surface area to offer a wraparound effect, especially when used close up. This shape produces natural-looking catchlights in the eyes of your subject. The included fabric grid mounts to the softbox with touch-fasteners and provides directional control of the output, keeps light from the background, and allows you to light specific areas of the subject.

A: You can use the barebulb head of the Ad200Pro and one of these mounts B&H # GOS2. Then they will be compatible.

A: You can use Godox Octa Softbox with Bowens Speed Ring and Grid (37.4") with Godox AD200 Pro by using Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Bowens https://bhpho.to/2PrgNgJ, however you may find the significant loose in power due to the size depending on where you plan to use it. The smaller version Godox Octa Softbox with Bowens Speed Ring and Grid (31.5") would be more suitable for that light.

[3.8 lb] I've only used it for a day so far, but it seems fairly well-built for the price. The diffusion is pretty good. As an amateur, I think it's a good option. It is definitely not easy to tear down and put together, though, so I would only get it if you don't need to travel with it often. 5

[Yes] I love Godox products and B&H makes the process very smooth as far as purchasing and fast shipment. This softbox is amazing with portaits and big enough for full body shots. Very easy to assemble. I strongly recommend this purchase if you're considering. 5

[27 x 9 x 5"] Not a $400 Octabox. In fact, I'm not sure why you would want to spend 10X what this one costs. Materials and Workmanship are good, I believe the Octabox you construct with a ring and rods will last longer than the umbrella type. This comes with an inner diffuser, an outer diffuser, a grid, and a carry case. I would strongly suggest looking at a YouTube video or two on assembly if you are not familiar with the process. 5

[27 x 9 x 5"] I finally wore out my Calumet softbox after 25 years of use. This one takes about 20 minutes to initially set up but then it goes up and down in seconds. 5

[Umbrella Style] For a great price. The only thing you might want to bear in mind is its not quick release, so set up time/ease could be troublesome. Very soft, even light. 5

[3.8 lb] I love the light diffusion from this softbox. Creates a great catch light in the subjects eyes. It requires assembly and disassembly which is time consuming and doesnt come with instructions, but I found a video online and was good to go. The build quality is superb and doesnt feel like its going to rip or break on you at any point. Great deal, great results! 5

[Umbrella Style] What a great price for a wonderful product. I use it with my Bowen light and the speed ring fits perfect. Lighter than I thought it would be, but still strong and durable. Set up is a little tricky, but just takes some practice assembling it and disassembling. Nice soft light! Portraits look great. 5
