The Chimera Urban Series 24 x 24" Window Pattern Kit lets you create the interesting light patterns and effects, without all the time-consuming work. This kit conatins 6 window patterns that help you achieve varied lighting backgrounds for interviews, portraits, and still life, along with a frame with window holder, a clear Mylar for logos, and a handy ballistic cloth duffle.

A: This extension replaces the 18 arm that is already attached to the Chimera Standard or Compact Light Boom.

Q: 5. Does the bag provided in this kit hold the chimera lantern and the boom stand?

A: The bag holds the complete kit. Note it is best not to put the sandbag in the case. It could damage the stand or the lantern as it moves around.

[4.55 lb] I have had a few of these a few weeks now and really like them. They are made of good material that seems like it will last. They worked great for the project I purchased them for and I look forward to using this one and others by Chimera in the future. 5

[4.55 lb] No light leaks, good quality and thick material. One small thought is that the inner baffle sits further along the softbox than expected ( i.e. it seems quite close to the outer baffle). Wish the accompanying grid wasn't so expensive - costs almost as much as this lightbank. 5

[4.55 lb] The 42 x 42 is the perfect size for a small shoot. It gives you the bounce you need and isn't too big to get into most situations. We love the different colors - White/Black and Gold as well as the diffusion. And its got the Chimera quality that we've come to expect. 5

[4.55 lb] I use an adapter to plug in 2 large 75w fluorescent bulbs. Nice soft light. Great for tabletop shoots. The stand is very sturdy and so is the boom arm. Very happy with the purchase. 5

[4.55 lb] This is my second most used window pattern from the Chimera Window Patterns Kit. I use it to light boring walls behind talent on interview shoots. I've got to confess I made my own cucoloris pattern using foam board and it looks downright creepy. Boris Karloff sort of stuff. So I broke down and purchased the Chimera patterns. I prefer the larger Chimera patterns when trying to add a splash to walls, the smallest patterns seem better suited to me for extremely small areas. I appreciate and stand behind the Chimera brand for their quality, portability as well as tried and true safety while on location. Great product. Recommended for anybody's kit. 5

[4.55 lb] I found out about this kit from a local rental, fell in love with it and decided to get one for myself. It's easy to install and packs into a small package, with proper gripping (2 points of contact) it can withstand winds without any problem. 5

[4.55 lb] This is the best deal out there if you're building a lighting kit from scratch. It comes out to about 25% off buying the same chimeras individually. I'm using the strip bank with a Spiderlite td5 in order to have a good low profile soft source. I intend to use the other two with the new Arrilite Plus 750 units, once they come on the market. 5
