[Yes] This is a beautiful lens. The color is true. It loves skin. Wide-open it blooms, contrast drops, and it looks like you have a Promist filter on. Don't expect anywhere near sharp focus wide open. However, things sharpen up f/2.5-2.8. I bought and 32mm and 50mm, but the 32mm was soft through 3.5 - sent it back. I have yet to receive a replacement. Hopefully, it was a QC problem with that lens. Regarding the 50mm, the box had a crushed corner. So, I sent it back for an exchange.

[Zipper] When I bought my Sony A7III, the lens I wanted was back-ordered. So, I initially bought this lens thinking it would be something inexpensive to play around with while I was waiting for my other lens. I had never had a fully manual lens before but it was inexpensive and I said what the heck and got one. Boy, was I surprised. The pictures and videos are awesome - especially in low light. I have shot star trails with it and night time city lights that f4 lenses are just meh at and it handled it just great. A little soft around the edges but who pays much attention to the edges. I often put a slight vignette on the edges to pull peoples attention to the center anyway. I mean, come on man! This thing costs $299! The quality vs the cost are off the chart. This little sucker is heavy for its size. Very sturdy build quality. Im so happy I made this purchase.

[Zipper] I have both the 25mm and 50mm MicroPrime Cine lenses. Both are excellent manual lenses that work flawlessly on my Canon R5 with RF-EF adapter. I do a lot of product photography and video and to dial in focus is exactly what I need. Sure it is not autofocus, and isn't supposed to be, it is for those that want the ability of fine tuning detail and focus. The body is much higher quality metal than the plastic of the more expensive RF lenses. It is similar to zeiss lenses if you are familiar with those. I always color correct in post but the colors produced from the lenses seem consistent for my uses. The sharpness cannot be matched when combining these lenses with a 45mp sensor for photos and 8k video.

I have spent thousands in lenses in the past, but these are perfect for me at a much more reasonable cost than the alternative options.

[Empty] With an a background using photo lenses, this piece of glass is heavy, at 2 lbs, great for smoothing out those micro-jitters on my Pocket 6K and 4K. I used this on a talking head video a like the results. I look forward to using this lens more to experience the characteristics people crave about. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase so much I'm considering purchasing the 85mm.

[Zipper] It's true this new 2023 version is way better that previous version. I recently went to B&H with my old 25mm purchase 2022 and had a rep let me check out the 2023 version or new stock they had. I compared them and I realized the green cast was gone and it was brighter on the old 2022 version, the new one is even a bit sharper. I attached a image so you could see the difference.

I own the 25mm 32mm and 50mm. I'm going to pick up the 85mm later on this year.
