The silver Grace Design m905 Reference Monitor Controlleris a reference monitor controller and high-quality digital-to-analog converter, designed to deliver mastering-quality monitoring to your home or professional studio.

Featuring balanced and unbalanced analog inputs, and AES, S/PDIF and ADAT digital inputs, the m905 allows you to switch between a variety of input sources. Additionally, the unit has three stereo pairs of balanced speaker outputs with two assignable mono sub outputs, giving you a versatile selection of monitoring options when mixing or mastering.

Q: 2. Hi I have apollo twin x (Quad) and i have buy preamp GRACE m101 . Should I have Converter between these two equipment? If yes What is it the best converter for voiceover and for this equipment??

A: A converter is not necessary. Simply come out of the 1/4-inch TRS balanced output to the 1/4-inch portion of the combo input of the Apollo Twin X Quad. It is important to send the signal into the Apollo as a line level signal, to take advantage of the Grace preamp.. A Pearstone PM-TRS 1/4" TRS Male to 1/4" TRS Male Interconnect Cable (6'),BH #PEPMTRS06 would be a good choice for a balanced cable.

Q: 3. External DAC drive these like Cambridge, well I still need a headphone amp?

A: If the DAC can handle 300-600 ohm headphones, then you would not need amp amp.

Q: 4. Is set up difficult?

A: The Grace M101 is a compact unit with minimal controls. Very easy to connect and adjust. It will provides high clean gain. Well built and great sound.

Q: 5. What wires do I need to work these with my mac

A: The KRK V4S4 has a Combo Jack input. A: All the critical parts I can see on either side are silver/metallic. There is plenty of black plastic in there, too, but it all looks like structural support for the silvery parts. I took off the earcup padding and thin foam cover, but that's as much disassembly as I feel safe doing.

Q: 8. How do you plug this into your MacBook Pro for listening to music? My late-2013 MBP does not have a "mini-USB" port. Thank you for your help!

A: The connection to your Macbook would be USB-A, the Micro-USB 2.0 connector is on the Grace Design m900 DAC. 2 USB 2.0 Type A Male to Micro Type B Male Cables are include in the box.

Q: 9. Is this the older model that comes in a silver box or the newer one that comes in a black box?

A: it came with a black box

Q: 10. Must i use it only with amplifier or it good works with directly PC soundcard?

A: Most PC sound cards will not drive these 300 Ohm headphones. Use a headphone amplifier.

[26 x 18 x 11"] Bought to accurately reproduce the sound of my Kawai CA501 digital piano and it does the job very well. As mentioned innumerable times before it has a tight squeeze which is good for my smaller head - especially when constantly looking up at sheet music and then down at the keyboard. Tried Aune AR5000 first and it kept slipping off so sent back. The keyboard drives these 300 ohm headphones easily. 5

[20.15 lb] Hello, I purchased both the HD600 and HD650 from here at B&H. They both are spectacular. The 650's do not have the veilmost speak about - they are made in Ireland as well. They sound great! Try them. Remember the HD600 and HD650 are Sennheisers most purchased headphone for decades! I love the sound. 5
