We tried several and had major issues with all of them. Finally, out of desperation, I gave this product a try and I'm wildly impressed with the results.Pros:AUTO-FOCUS! Oh my gosh, I totally undervalued this feature until I saw my son running around the house touching this scope to anything and everything as it instantly focused (using the phone's auto-focus feature). He snapped most of the photos that I have included with this review.Fantastic color and clarity. I tried a USB microscope that claimed 100X optical zoom but it was awful and always blurry. [0.1 lb] Bought one of these as an upgrade to the Otterbox Defender cases I have been using previously, primarily for the increased protection factor the frame offers. (the Otterboxes keep breaking on the corner where the S Pen sits). Contact with the Staff at B+H has been fantastic, the website was easy to purchase through and it was shipped quickly. The cage itself is absolutely fantastic, extremely durable and protective, whilst also having a LOT of attachment points for various equipment items. Would 100% reccommend.

[5 x 3.5 x 0.1"] I absolutely love this device and my only gripe is it should come with a pocket-size carrying case. I'll make my own out of something from The Container Store for carrying about. Apart from that my child's eye lit up when he saw what it does - just looking at food, flower, birth marks, dollar bills... it's fascinating and I hear there may be even stronger lenses available for it down the road which would be incredible. Up there with video game consoles on the excited-kid front... adults start smiling, as well, when I hand it to a friend to try for the first time. Oh, and you're up and running 10 seconds after you unwrap it - virtually no learning curve.

The unit is light and compact and the sleeve fits the iPhone like a velvet glove. I like it so much I'd even recommended it to competitors!

[iPhone 5/5S/SE] This thing feels like a tank it will make your phone really bulky but I paired mine with a dbrand skin on the back because it is exposed and I think it's perfect.

[iPhone 5/5S/SE] I use this product in educational work with children and adults, teaching them about soil as an ecosystem, composting, vermicomposting. This product is great - variable focus, easy to put on microscope, really easy for people to move around and look at all the critters in the soil. I really haven't found any cons about this lens. Really worth the investment!
