The dark blue Bushnell 12x42 H2O Porro Prism Binoculars Dark Blueare ideal for long-range glassing, especially on the water, where you need to be able to clearly see buoys and navigational markers even in low or fading light. Bushnell built them using ecologically friendly glass that is manufactured without lead to be better for the environment.

They are outfitted with traditional Porro prisms that allow you to more easily discern the relative distances between two objects in your view and anti-reflection multicoatings that maximize light transmission to deliver bright, sharp, and clear high-contrast views with accurate color rendition and crisp resolution across the wide field of view. To withstand the harsh conditions associated with salt water environments, the chassis is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum and the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled to resist internal fogging and O-ring sealed to an IPX7 waterproof rating.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the size?

A: So I contacted the Manufacturer on this inquiry. Unfortunately they do not have these dimensions available. My sincere apologies.

Q: 2. can one of the eyepieces be focused separately for eyesight compensation?

A: I have both the 8x25 & the 10x25 and they both have the individual eyepiece focus adjustment.

Q: 3. Why is this one less expensive than the 10 x 25 of the same series?

A: Unfortunately we do not have that information. My apologies. The models are both brand new, sometimes higher powered model's can be less expensive. This pricing has to do with the manufacturer.

Q: 4. Does it come with a bag?

A: The Nikon 12x42 Monarch M5 Binoculars come with a "carrying Case"

Q: 5. Do these come with a case, a strap and lens covers ?

A: Yes the Bushnell 7x50 H2O Porro Prism Binoculars come with a case, neck straps and lens caps.

Q: 6. Can someone please let me know what you think about the "shake" between 8x42 and 12x42? Is there a huge difference between them for using in birding, hiking, Safari and overall in the wild? I'm struggling to decide which one to buy. Thanks

A: If you are Birding, and Wildlife Viewing the 8X42 Model would be the way to go. 12X might be too shaky, and unstable for your purpose. I would go with the 8X if I were deciding between the two. Plus the 8X will be better in low light situations.

Q: 7. Description says tripod mountable with adapter. Is this thru?

A: Yes it is tripod mountable but you would need an adapter such as this: https://bhpho.to/2luGUXL

Q: 8. does this pair of binoculars have a case?

A: It does come with a nylon case.

Q: 9. What is the difference between this one and the B&H # BU10X25HRCC MFR # 130106C?

A: The difference is the packaging. The BU10X25HRCB is packaged in a Box, and the BU10X25HRCC is packaged in Adhesive Clam Shell Packaging. That is the only difference.

Q: 10. Do these binoculars come with a case?

A: Yes, it does.

[12x] Replaced a similar Bushnell model I had dropped and damaged. Clarity and focus are excellent. I have trouble with other styles being too narrow to fit my eyes. These are just right.

[42 mm] These binoculars give a tack-sharp view extending to the edge of the FOV. The extra-long eye relief makes it possible to wear thick eyeglasses (with twist up eyecups in any position) and still get the entire FOV. The image from these compares favorably with any of the binoculars that I have. If you are looking for a good 7x50 with long eye relief and sharp image quality, check these out.

[Porro (BAK4)] Great Binoculars. I used it for the first time to look at boats and Rottenest Island across Cottesloe Beach in Perth WA and I am very pleased with the product. It's very clear. Definitely recommend the product. I have experienced the best service and best price from B&H. Received the product within 10 days of purchased. Definitely will shop at B&H again.

[14 mm] this binocular is better than expected. for the price of $ normally you can't expect a quality of Leica or Zeiss but a more or less sharp item.when I used this bin for the first time, I thought I would have taken the wrong one ( I own a bin from Zeiss too). I was so astonished from the sharpness and the truth of the color. since I take it always with me on my tours with the canoe. It does not fear rain or water and doesn't glide out of my fingers when wet. So you can say: optic first class (The Zeiss has a bit more contrast!)the mechanic is strong and smooth. the rubber of the eye caps is a bit hardand lets marks on your nose. In the description what is in the box you read only: the bins and the warranty, but you get more: two lids for the eye caps, two lids for the front lenses and a quite heavy duty pocket from Cordura which is not sensible of water either and a good broad neck strap.

[42 mm] This was purchased as a gift for my father to take on his many fishing expeditions. The waterproofing, quality construction and rugged design were everything he was looking for in a pair of Binoculars. The large size was also a plus. To quote my dad They are big enough to fit even my head I can't speak to the under-water resistance and floatation capability of these Binoculars as they have thankfully avoided testing by accidental lake immersion (thus far). The only caveat I would have is that the rubber is all black making it nearly impossible to locate should it be dropped in water. A bright orange or other highly visible 'safety' color finish would make them stand out better if they did.

[3.5 mm] I just started feeding birds in my yard. This binocular is just great for the purpose. Just the right amount of magnification and excellent clarity. A great bang for the buck.

[14 mm] Bought these for casual birding. Good optics at a great price (though still waiting on a $ rebate). Little on the heavier side, but the water and fog proofing make up for that, in addition to the generous eye relief. At this price, porro is almost always a safer bet than roof (no phase correction until you go well above $+).
