Q: 1. Hello ! I have a series of mft lenses : Nokton f 0.95 (10.5mm) Nokton f 0.95 (17.5mm) Nokton f 0.95 (25mm) Nokton f 0.95 (42.5mm) Nokton f 0.95 (60mm) Panasonic leica f 1.2 (12mm) Panasonic leica f 1.2 (200mm) I want to know which of these mft lenses will conver this 35mm sensor if we use MFT Mount on this Z Cam E2 S6 camera ? P.S : Also if you can tell me the same thing about the NOKTON f 0.8 (29.5mm) lens Regards

A: The Nokton and Panasonic Leica Lenses are designed for MFT sensors. We do not recommend them for Super 35mm. Consider cinema lenses (such as Meike or Rokinon) if you are interested in MFT lenses that cover Super 35mm sensors.

Q: 2. What’s “data transformation” for the usb-c port for? Can you connect a usbc external ssd like Samsung T5 to record into?

A: Yes, an external SSD may be connected. To meet the recommended specs of this device, a good option this would be the Angelbird Match Pack - https://bhpho.to/2LbV2hv

Q: 3. it have slowmotion?

A: Yes it does. It is able to shoot 6K at up to 75fps along with 4K at up to 120fps.

Q: 4. Does it crop in on the sensor in any of the slow motion modes?

A: According To Z Cam 4K 100/120fps is cropped, as is 6K 60fps. However 6K (2.4:1) at 60fps is not cropped.

Q: 5. can i use samsung T5 2TB for raw recording?

A: The Z-Cam cannot record to SSDs.

Q: 6. is there Nikon F-mount adapter for ZCAM?

A: While Z CAM does not manufacture an F-mount or F-mount adapter for the Z CAM E2-S6 Super 35 6K Cinema Camera (EF Mount) (B&H# ZCE2S6EF), a third party adapter could be used with lenses that do not require an electronic contact for aperture or focus control such as the Vello Nikon F-Mount G Lens to Canon EF/EF-S-Mount Camera Lens Adapter with Aperture Control (B&H# VELACEFNG): https://bhpho.to/3wHSXRQ

Q: 7. Is there any way to get SDI Out without using A Decimator MD-HX Converter from HDMI Out?

A: No. And keep in mind that even with the Decimator, you would only be outputting 1080 at 60 p max via SDI... To output 4k you would need a higher level converter that would turn your HDMI out to 12G-SDI.

Q: 8. Will autofocus work with sigma art lens ef?

A: The auto focus on this camera should work with any EF mount lenses which have AF, including Sigma lenses that offer Auto Focus.

Q: 9. Will the mounts on this camera be interchangeable, so that you can buy one camera body and two mounts and simply switch between EF and PL?

A: According to the manufacturer, The E2-F6 and E2-F8 full-frame models will support user interchangeable mounts, so you can switch between Canon EF and PL mounts at will.

Q: 10. Are there interchangeable lens mount options? PL? EF? emount? RF? Nikon F?

A: There are EF, PL and MFT mount options.

[Sony L-Series] Allot to like. Low cost 4k, records to usbc, built in wifi hot spot for remote control, variety of recording modes and formats, and an active support forum frequented by the owner of the company. Documented my build here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2599705156954449&type=3

[Aluminum] This was my first cinema camera. Image quality is amazing which is to be expected since it shares sensors with the BMPCC 6K. Its a super flexible camera with its formats, recording media, and EF mount (with ND module support). What I didn't expect was for the usability to be this amazing. Connecting to the app and using it to monitor/control the camera made things supers easy on shoot days. And it performed flawlessly for cinema camera things. However I ultimately ended up selling mine because I simply wasn't ready for a cinema camera.

Things like photo capabilities, not having to rig up and break down a system every time I wanted to record, and autofocus were things I was missing greatly. This isn't the cameras fault, as it does exactly what it is advertised to do. If, and only if, you're prepared to jump into the cinema camera should you be looking into these, but this is definitely an EXCELLENT choice if you are.

In case you're wondering, I now shoot on the Sony a7IV and I sold all my Canon gear and EF lenses. I do miss walking onto sets with that ZCam rig and looking like a true pro though.

[1 to 360°] I have shot everything from feature length narrative to live, 3 camera switched shoots and this little beast delivers every single time with no glitches, color or white/black balance issues, frame drops, bad pixels, or any of the other issues I've experienced with other cameras. It's light, flexible, and works seamlessly with the rest of my rig (Sound devices MixPre-6, Atomos Ninja V+, Hollyland wireless video). I also love the fact that I can switch out the lens mount. I mostly have EF mount lenses, but I also use MFT mount anamorphic lenses and PL mount Sony Cinema Primes and I get outstanding images with all options.

I do wish the menus were a little more intuitive, but that is a minor gripe considering the rest of the camera is so good.

[Yes] I can't believe there are no reviews for this cage yet. In my view, this is the best cage available for the ZCam E2 flagship cameras. An absolutely perfect combination of 1/4-20 and Arri Locating mounts.

Most cages offer very few if any Arri locating mounts, but if you've used them, you know why they are amazing. I prefer them to anything else.

Obviously this is not a minimalist design like some other cages. And it's going to be a little heavier. But it's thick, protective, doesn't flex at all even with heavy accessories, and beautifully made. My only two small gripes are that the bar that runs across the top back portion covers up the lettering for the function buttons, and the design of the cage as it surrounds the CFast card slot makes it difficult to extract the cards a bit. But for everything the cage offers, these two small gripes are nothing.

I wouldn't trade this for any other cage out there for these cameras.

[1 to 360°] The Z Cam E2-S6 is a fabulous value for the money. Shoots in 6K with a beautiful color balance. It feels sturdy. Can't beat the codec options and quality for the price point.

[Canon EF] This camera is probably 4.5 rather than 5, but wouldn’t require much tweaking to get it over the line. I bought it because I have a full complement of Olympus micro 4/3 lenses, but hardly use my OMD EM1 mk 2 since Nikon introduced the Z system. The Olympus lenses are superb and combining them with this tiny body makes so much sense. It is very well made, we’re a long way past Chinese junk, and although the buttons let the camera down by lacking certainty of operation, the superb iPhone app makes up for this. I would love to see something which attaches to the back allowing an iPhone to be used for control and monitoring in run and gun situations. It needs to be used with a cage or at the minimum, cheese plates, it takes Sony NP batteries, great if you’re an Atomos owner and the sensor is excellent. A couple of times a year I film stage productions using up to 5 cameras, this certainly will have a place, possibility number one.

[Canon EF] This is my second Z CAM E2-S6 camera, intended to replace a BMPC 4K and a BM micro studio, both unusable because none of the power inputs work anymore...just after the BMPC warranty period. Planned obsolescence ???

[1 to 360°] This little camera rocks. It punches far above its price point with image quality and ease of use. Long battery life, affordable media with type C SSD... just a nice piece of gear that’s absolutely worth every penny. Ultimate lens compatibility to use native MFT glass or use a speed booster to throw big lenses on. The developer Facebook group is one of the best features of the brand. This camera won me over on the Zcam Brand.

[11x 1/4"-20 ] I’ll admit, I didn’t think much of this camera when it was introduced at NAB, I mean I’ve never heard of the company before... flash forward to the present when my DP couldn’t make a shoot and handed me his camera (Zcam E2) to cover. I literally learned the camera on the spot based on an easy to navigate menu. The images coming out of this little beast was unlike I’ve seen before, like a proper cinema camera stripped down to bare bones... since then, I’ve happily purchased my own and have shot in a variety of situations. I recently shot a documentary and the camera held up quite nicely.
Zcam also has a close Facebook community where the CEO and engineers actually listen to your concerns. Every update is a great surprise. No regrets!
