Q: 1. I am looking for a 20 amp dimmer pack and this looks like the right pack (2400 watts). However, looking at the manual, it is supplied with 1 NEMA 5-15P Connector -- which appears to be a 15 amp connector. We have 20 amp service, so we will be exceeding 15 amps--is this safe?

A: I would say that it is perfectly safe to use this pack on a 20a circuit. Each channel has it's own breaker in it and I think there is a main breaker as well in the pack. You aren't ever going to overload the 20a circuit and of course you can't draw more than 15a through the pack itself. Should be no problemo. That said, you might want to actually get a 20a pack to take full advantage of your available power but I believe they climb in price pretty substantially.

A: It depends on the type of fixture you have, if they're dimmable then you can use this dimmer.

A: There are 3 notches in the fitting that need to be aligned for proper seating. Once aligned everything should work flawlessly.
