The Kondor Blue Cine Magic Arm Pro 10.2"is an Israel arm-style articulating ball head support arm for monitors, viewfinders, lights, mics, and other accessories. It provides a 1/4"-20 screw on each end and measures 10.2" from end to end. This arm can be attached to camera cages, top handles, cheese plates, or another support, and then adjusted to virtually any angle via its four points of articulation. The 1/4"-20 ends can be switched out for separately available ball heads with 3/8"-16 screws and ARRI locating pins.

A: Yes, the shoe mount can be removed leaving a female 1/4 -20 thread. The female 1/4 -20 coupler can then be removed ultimately leaving a male 1/4 -20 on both ends.

Q: 3. Is it possible to get the anti-twist pins off the system?

A: For the Kondor Blue Ball Head with 3/8--16 ARRI-Style Anti-Twist Screw for Magic Arm (Black), we are not aware of any official way to remove the anti-twist pins.

[1/4"-20 Male ] I use this on my FX3 for my monitors. My have the KB extension handle, so this slides right onto it. All of my external monitors have cages on them, therefore having NATO rail design, so don't have to attach any adaptors. This thing is solid and sturdy - I've used it many run and gun situations, particularly sports and weddings. So sturdy, much better than 1/4 threads as those can counter rotate and loosen over time on during a gig. 5

[4] The build quality is great like other Kondor Blue products. There are quite a lot of knock offs such as Smallrig and they dont provide double 3/8/-16 with arri pins and dont sell them separately so this is the only magic arm you can get. Yeah, it's expensive but you get what you pay for and clients care about it. 5

[0.86 lb] Hard to believe how few 3/8 w/ ARRI locking pin arms there are on the market but these do the trick. Price could be cheaper but beggers cant be choosers. 5

[Aluminum] Kondor Blue are the only mounts I use. These are sturdy and hold in place during rugged field production conditions. Nothing drives me more crazy than mounting attachments that move during a shoot and Kondor Blue takes that out of the equation. I typically use the Nato clamps for extra grip but some attachments require the 1/4 screw. 5

[1/4"-20 Male ] These work great. Tighten well and are easy to use in any position. They can hold a lot of weight comfortably too. My favorite part is being able to change out and customize the pieces. 5
