SONUSCORE Origins Bundle Volumes 1-5 Virtual Instrumentis a Kontakt-powered melodic percussion library that offers samples of sansula and steel tongue drum, two unique instruments with an ethnic sound reminiscent of African tribal music. The sansula is a modern version of the Kalimba played by plucking metal tines attached to a membrane. The steel tongue drum is a present-day instrument with percussive sounds played with mallets or by hand. When combined in the Multi-Arpeggio Designer (MAD), the instruments produce a contemporary sounding, bell-like sound, great for creative scoring with mystical sonic landscapes.

The instruments can be played as single notes or as rhythmical patterns generated by the Multi-Arpeggio Designer. Each instrument has its own independent, fully controllable arpeggiating system that lets them react to each other, with a human feel. The library comes with over 80 MAD arpeggio presets, which combine both instruments to help you quickly create harmonic patterns, interlocking rhythms, and inspiring soundscapes.

For more possibilities to sculpt the tonal character of your sound, Origins Volume 1 comes with 12 Color presets, all radically different in character and with settings ranging from synthetic leads to glass-like sounds. MAD presets and Color presets can be combined, resulting in over 900 predefined combinations.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Anyone know if this works on Sony FS700 with stock lens (18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 PZ OSS)?

A: Perfectly. I have used it regularly for over a year. It is better to have it plugged in the camera before you power it up. A detail per manufacturer.

Q: 2. Are these hard or soft cases?

A: These come with soft cases that seem to be made of a felt like material.

Q: 3. What is the sync speed?

A: The sync speed would depend on the camera you use, as flash sync speed differs from camera to camera. When using TTL mode on Canon cameras, PocketWizard does state that HyperSync & High-Speed Sync Technology in the remotes support flash sync speeds of up to 1/500th sec., while High-Speed Sync auto syncs flash system with the camera's shutter speed setting, up to 1/8000th. However, the top sync speed when using the items will be determined by the camera.

Q: 4. Good afternoon,I currently use two Nikon D4, two D800 and six Nikon SB-800 speedlites. My intention is to have a main camera trigger three separate cameras and the speedlites simultaneously. What would be the best configuration of pocket wizard products for this setup?

A: Hello - I use a D800e and have four (4) of the Flex TT5 units sitting under speed lights. I use the TT1 to trigger them, and have the AC Zone Adapter as well. It's a great combination.

Q: 5. I currently have the Pocket Wizard Plus X for off camera flash. I am looking to have use of both off camera and on camera flash. Will this transmitter fire both my off camera flash connected to the Plus X AND the on camera speed light when connected to this hot shoe?

A: Yes it will fire both the off camera flash connected to the Plus X AND the on camera speed light when connected to this hot shoe.

Q: 6. does this product also come with a receiver that connects to the flash unit?

A: No it does not. You will need the TT1 transmitter for the camera. http://bhpho.to/18bD2NC

Q: 7. Does the PocketWizard Flex TT5 and the MiniFlex work with the Phottix Mitros TTL Flash for Nikon in full iTTL mode?If not, will the PocketWizards fire the Mitros in basic mode?

A: The PocketWizards will work with that flash in basic/manual mode but are not listed as being TTL compatible with that system on PocketWizard's compatibility chart found here: http://wiki.pocketwizard.com/index.php?title=Canon_Compatibility

Q: 8. Hi, there’s a way to attach the ring to a 95mm lens? Any adapter or step down ring acessories?

A: Unfortunately, the Lensbaby OMNI Deluxe Bundle would not work with a 95mm lens as it would cause too much vignetting. The filter is 77mm so even in an 82mm lens it already causes vignetting. In a 95mm lens it causes even a greater issue.

Q: 9. Does this go pro need to be wired to a computer to stream video?

A: Yes. You will need to connect your GoPro to your computer via USB for access to streaming in webcam mode.

Q: 10. Will this work with the JVC GY-HM170UA 4KCAM?

A: Yes, this is compatible with the JVC GY-HM170UA.

[Kontakt 5] Nothing said on YouTube is false or misleading. If you already have a keybed you love to play, just buy the sounds here and record or jam out with them.

[Kontakt 5] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia!

[Kontakt 5] I own many piano libraries as well as a real Steinway B so I was not expecting Keyscape to be as good as it is. I have not had time to explore much beyond the Rhodes and Yamaha C7 sounds but those are excellent and have easily replaced other libraries for me. The sounds work very well in my mixes. It does take a fairly hefty computer with an SSD, however, to run.

[Kontakt 5] I've waited a while to add this to my spectrasonics collections and I must say this is worth the purchase. I will be practicing my piano skills and adding it to my music productions.

[Kontakt 5] Works well standalone, and also integrates with Omnisphere quite well (nice to have a bunch of new patches for this integration for immediate use). Fantastic acoustic / electric pianos and it's great to have all of the vintage and rate mechanical / bell / tine keys for unique sounds.
