Q: 1. I cannot access the marker menu. It is grayed out all the time. I'm using an SDI cable, not sure if I need to do anything. Does anyone have a fix for that?

A: Marks only work for HDMI inputs not SDI inputs.

Q: 2. I am experiencing flickering intermittently, it starts and ends on its own. I tried to narrow down the source of the issue by using different power options and different hdmi/sdi cables. How do I resolve this?

Q: 4. Has anyone had success adding LUTS to this monitor? The process to get this key to their conversion software is a joke, they send me "keys" and none of them work and communication with them is awful. Any help?

Q: 5. Will this H7 monitor work off-camera wireless with a Transmitter and receiver?

A: yes it will.

Q: 6. Does this monitor display a progressive or interlaced picture?

A: The Lilliput H7S 7" 4K HDMI/3G-SDI Ultra-Bright On-Camera Monitor is capable of displaying both progressive and interlaced signals. If you send an interlaced signal to the monitor it will display it as interlaced and if you send a progressive signal it will display it as progressive.

Q: 7. Does this monitor cross convert SDI to HDMI? If I have an SDI input will it output the video signal to the HDMI port?

A: No. Each input protocol only loops thru to its synonymous output. There is no cross-conversion occurring.

Q: 8. Will this monitor work with the IOGEAR wireless 4K @30hz extender w/Local pass-through transmitter and receiver kit?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. Can I add a Vmount plate to it?

A: Sorry, there is no VESA holes on the back for installing a V mount plate, the H7S has dual F970 battery slots on the back, two battery can last around 10-12 hours.

Q: 10. Will this cage accommodate the Lilliput HT7S 7"?

A: The CAMVATE Full Monitor Cage for Lilliput H7/H7S 7" 4K is only compatible with the models mentioned in the name of the listing and will not accommodate the Lilliput HT7S 7" On-Camera Control Monitor with LANC Camera Control.

[Black] I've bought these for my LUT6s but also have one for our LUT7. They are super light weight, don't add much bulk, but really help protect the monitor and provide some additional mounting points for accessories if needed. The biggest reason you probably want one of these, is to simply have a stronger and more secure mounting point to your camera. The LUT6 is made out of some kind of composite plastic and in a busy production environment, there's a strong possibility of snapping the mounting holes off in the monitor. This provides nice solid alloy mounting holes and makes the whole thing feel more secure. 5

[Aluminum] I was pleasantly surprised when I used it for an outdoor wedding yesterday! Very easy to see the screen. Worth every penny! Also like the fuel NPF battery plates! Doesn't drain the batteries fast. The Color is off slightly but I haven't tweaked it yet, so hopefully I can get it more accurate. It's a real game changer compared to every other field monitor I've used! 5

[Aluminum] The LUT6 monitor is great. Bright and lightweight and great image. However the mounting points are flimsy. The light weight is due to it's plastic body. To protect those mounts in particular and the entire body in general, this form fitting cage is a must have. It does not add much weight and it adds more mounting options. The fit and quality is perfect. 5

[9.7 x 8 x 2"] Love it. No problem seeing in bright sunlight. Has 3 preset brightness settings (Low, Medium & High) plus users choice. Once you dial in the correct color balance it looks good. The only concern I have is the volume on playback is low. (My camera speakers are louder Sony PXW-Z190). I do wish there was a way to mute the sound without having to go into the menu. Very please so far, a great value for the price. 5

[9.7 x 8 x 2"] I'm using this as a cage for the Zoom H3-VR, which fits perfectly inside, mounts a 360 camera on top, and fits on a light weight aluminum tripod. The entire rig weighs less than 5 lbs thanks to the aluminum Camvate cage. Great fit and finish, all threads are smooth, no flex in the cage, and the anodized black with white lettering is sharp. 5

[9.7 x 8 x 2"] As a dolly grip, the fact I could hot swap batteries is a huge plus. Also it's very economical, I don't need anything fancy. Also it's pretty bright on day exteriors. 5
