These 67mm ND8, ND64, ND1000 filters provide a density increase of 3-, 6-, and 10-stops, respectively, and they can be combined with each other, or with other filters, for greater effect. The filters darken the entire image area without adding any color caste. Adding density to an exposure allows the shutter speed to be longer for increased motion blur, which is especially useful when shooting flowing water. Increased density also provides greater control over depth of field, useful when trying to isolate a subject when shooting in bright direct light.
