The CAME-TV 17.3" 4K HDMI/3G-SDI Field Monitorfrom CAME-TV 17.3" 4K HDMI/3G-SDI Field Monitoris designed for field or studio work such as ENG, broadcast studios, and postproduction environments. It supports UHD 3840 x 2160 IPS HD video, and it has a contrast ratio of 1000:1, 400 cd/m² brightness, and Rec.709/DPI-P3 color calibration.

The monitor features four HDMI 2.0 inputs and can display up to four 4K sources in a quad PiP/PbP format simultaneously; additional 3G-SDI sources can also be switched in. The HDMI 1/2 inputs can input up to UHD 4K60 and HDMI 3/4 can input up to UHD 4K30, and both can input up to DCI 4K24 video. The monitor has a headphone jack as well as a built-in speaker. The monitor also includes an RJ45 tally port. Settings and controls are configured with the buttons at the base of the case.

The portable monitor is installed in a rugged hard-shell case and includes a V-mount battery plate when mains power is unavailable. The package also includes a sun hood, an HDMI cable, and an AC power adapter.

[Yes] This monitor works great on the camera. You could spend a lot more, but I don't know why you would want to. The quality of the video on this monitor is great, there are multiple input choices and an audio monitor. Its construction seems rugged and durable and it fits nicely in a custom slot I built into my camera bag. I bought a universal monitor mount, but this unit came with one, so don't buy the mount unless you want an extra one. Sun shade is nice but is a bit fussy to snap on - not a deal breaker, though. I'm happy with this rig. 5

[DCI-P3, Rec709] I used this one on my Sony AX2000 camcorder for a play I was recording. I needed a monitor that was lower than the camcorder and this was also larger. I found the HDMI connector works best. The composite was not clear at all and color washed out. I have a monitor already and needed an extra one for another camcorder. Can't beat the price. and the quality is just fine for what i do. 5

[254 ppi] I'm using this with a canon 6D and it make is so much easier to focus! You can trim the hue and contrast but I was missing focus without it and now, it's alway spot on! 5

[IPS-Type LCD] I bought 1 of these because of the price. When I got the monitor I was blown away by the picture quality for the price! After using it for sometime with out a hitch I bought another and am about to buy a 3rd one. I bought the first 2 from another company because B&H did not have it then. I'm happy to see that B&H carries it now. With this monitor don't be fooled by the listed resolution, the clarity is spot on HD! When your talking 7 the resolution is sharp enough to pull focus with. The manufacture list it as 1920 x 1080. The listed resolution is the actual resolution. The color is not spot on like the resolution is, its close but for the price that is the sacrifice. I found that tweaking the color hue and contrast on the monitor you can get it close to match the monitor built into our cameras. We set our cameras to the kelvin to match the light temperature so color accuracy is not hugely important to us. 5

[3840 x 2160] Real Buttons! This device features actual knobs and buttons for settings. No need to navigate too many submenus and multifunction buttons. Video quality is good. Speaker is adequate for our needs. Does not include power supply, so you'll either need a battery or to purchase a PSU for it. Other than that, it's great. 5

[IPS-Type LCD] So far no problems at all. I use it for focus pulling and it was the right price for a simple job. Of course its not the best monitor for reviewing footage, but it meets my needs. I wouldn't spend a dollar more for a focus monitor. Only catch is the construction. Not at all bad, but I wouldn't rent it out to a stranger. 5

[1000:1] I use seven of these to convert my IMAG production switcher HD/SDI output to HDMI/DVI input on projectors 550 feet away. The L.E.D. indicators are great for fast troubleshooting and signal confirmation. The dual re-clocked & EQ'ed SDI outputs make cascading the HD/SDI signal easy. Since it automatically adapts to the SDI input signal, I can switch between SD & HD formats seamlessly. I haven't needed to use the 3G SDI format yet but it's good to know it can handle that too. 5
