It's important that the ball joint is properly supported since movement can cause a shift if not properly mounted.

A: NO! It can't really hold anything heavier than a GoPro Camera.

A: Yes, the combination will support it. I would definitely have some safety cables on it. Would you be comfortable leaving you 70-200 un attended? Nevertheless, the combination will support that body and frame.

[Clamp] I own many GoPro gadgets... They all have their uses, advantages and disadvantages bit if I had to choose only one it would be this one... There are so many ways to use this that is is my number one! It's actually my second one... Broke the first after many years of use and adventure. 5

[7.1 oz / 200 g] I use it for my Bike daily. I use my GoPro as a dash cam and Mount it with the GoPro Clamp. The video is very stable and the camera is easily adjustable on the fly. It does not move around in spite of it being on and off sidewalks constantly. 5

[0.46 lb] The Jaws Flex Clamp is the perfect attachment that I need for my Backpackbillboard. It is sturdy enough that the camera doesn't shake and in addition to that I can change the position of the camera easily to capture different angles. I've had my GoPro for a year and I wasn't able to take it out with me because there was a secure attachment for my Backpack Billboard. This is well worth the money! 5
