Protect and add accessories to your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro for pro-style video capture with this Cage from Wooden Camera. The cage protects your camera on three sides while maintaining access controls on all sides, and it leaves the camera's handgrip openly accessible. It features engraved focal plane markings to ensure accurate measurement.

Accessories can be mounted around the cage using the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads that feature ARRI-style anti-twist locating holes. There is also a shoe mount on top and two 3/8"-16 mounting threads on the front of the cage to add optional rod mounts, microphones, lights, or other accessories. Pass-through slots on the side allow you to manage your cables. An HDMI right-angle adapter and HDMI/USB cable clamp are included to protect the camera's cable ports from cable pulls and snags.

[Metal] I bought this camera December 2021. upgrading from my Panasonic GH5s, jumping into my first Super35 cinema camera and 6K camera. This camera is competes with $6000 cameras like Red Komodo 6k and Fx6. Built in ND Filters (LIFE CHANGING) and internal RAW 6K recording (no need for HDMI out) with a big 5 inch Monitor (no need for external monitor) that make world difference with focus peaking. Waveforms and False color, 13 stops of Dynamic range! This cinema camera is a heavy contender. 5

[Metal] I researched each type of cinema camera before deciding to purchase the Blackmagic 6K Pro. I was already a Canon user so my EF lenses would be compatible with the 6k Pro body. There were certain specific features that were the determining factors to pull the trigger on the purchase. features like: * Built-in ND Filters that help with shooting outside * The ability to film in 6k and 4k 60fps. * You can film and record in BRAW or ProRes * Dual native ISO * XLR mini ports * Full HDMI port * cfast and sd card (also accepts SSD) I have no regrets about this purchase. The most significant change is utilizing a focus wheel versus relying on auto-focus like the Canon cameras. 5

[7.15 x 6 x 3.3"] I've used Blackmagic Cameras for several years, I really enjoy this version. It's a bit bulky at times, but getting it on sticks or shoulder rig, and even a gimbal, makes it well worth the price. What I enjoy about this camera is that you can build it up as large or as small as you like. Whatever the job is, it will handle it with ease. The biggest selling point for me on the camera was the built-in ND filters. However, they are known to cause issues with the IR filter, I had to send mine in for repairs, luckily I was still within the year warranty, so it didn't cost me anything. Outside of that issue, this camera has served me well on Documentaries, music videos, and short films. 5

[7.15 x 6 x 3.3"] Great product. Definitely worth the extra price over alternatives. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this thing. Everything is precisely engineered, and well considered. The lower quick dovetail on the bottom is super useful if you've got a tripod plate. Just screw it onto the quick dovetail and you can swiftly mount and unmount your camera from your tripod head. Also, unlike some universal alternatives, this baseplate is the right height, so matte boxes and accessories will line up with the lens center properly. (I believe the tilta baseplate is also like this.) 5

[Cage] I researched every cage I could find for the pocket 6k pro and finally settled on this one. It's extremely well built but not heavy. I often need to put accessories on the camera often - wireless transmitters + audio, timecode boxes, etc - this is the only cage that gives you the real-estate to do that in my opinion. It breaks down very small quickly which is a big plus. I know it's a lot more expensive then other cages out there but I think it's worth it. I picked up a v mount adapter from another company that works well with this - didn't think the WC v-mount adapter was worth it. Overall super happy. 5

[7.15 x 6 x 3.3"] Very sturdy, since it's one solid piece unlike other options. Easy to mount, and precisely threaded. I bought the 6K Pro cage from Kondor Blue, but ended up returning that and bought this. It is so much better. In buying this, you'll also be supporting a US based company--although they're owned by Vitec--that truly innovates in this space and doesn't just copy what works. 5
