However, be aware that in addition to being manual focus, it also has a manual aperture, and there are no contacts on the lens to transfer anything from the lens to the camera. So focusing the lens with small apertures can be difficult. I missed this fact when I ordered it, but since I bought it primarily for astrophotography, and use it at f2 it is not a huge problem. A: It mounts and it works, but because it is designed for the smaller DX-sensor cameras, it will vignette -- a lot -- in FX mode. If you shoot your D750 in DX mode, it will work just fine, but all things being equal, you would be better off using a 24 mm f/2.8 (or faster) lens in FX mode.

Unfortunately, due to the totally manual properties of the lens, the camera shows no info on what the actual focal length is...Doesn't show any info AT ALL, at least not on my 7D body. Takes beautiful astronomical shots tho, extremely low to no coma.
