Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit the BMD 4k 7 with batteries, and have adequate access to the SD slots and HDMI/SDI ports?

A: Yes it will. You will be able to have the standard LP-E6 batteries running the monitor when it is used with this rain cover. You will also have easy access to the batteries, SD card slot and ports.

Q: 2. Will this work for the Sony a6400/a6500?

A: Yes, you will need an HDMI cable to connect the two devices together.

Q: 3. Is this case waterproof? Can you use it in the rain to protect the Shogun Inferno?

A: Waterproof means a device can be immersed in water, i.e. an underwater device. This case is not waterproof. However since it is made out of ballistic Codura nylon, it is water resistant meaning is can withstand light rain for reasonable lengths of time. Heavy rain for hours no. This pro level and what we would use on set. However, if working in the rain, usually we would set up a tent at least.

Q: 4. I got one of these and I am getting only a No Signal message on screen. I've tried connecting it on my Sony A6000 and on a Canon T6 and the same thing happens on both cameras. I'm using the HDMI port, going to MODE and chosing HDMI option and nothing changes. Anyone knows what I could be doing wrong? Thank you.

A: I've only had mine for a couple of months and have yet to really put it through the ringer, but it has worked beautifully for me on the few shoots I've done over the summer. If you have already tried switching the inputs on the Monitor then my suggestion would be to 1) Try a new cable as suggested above, and 2) look through your camera's menu settings to make sure it's actually outputting signal to the HDMI output. For some reason some of those smaller DSLR type cameras do not automatically (or by default) send signal to the HDMI output, it has to be turned on via their menu. Good luck... I love mine!!!

Q: 5. Will this work with Panasonic hc-V770?

A: Yes, you will just need to connect the camera and monitor through a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/888043-REG/Pearstone_hdd_1015_High_Speed_HDMI_to_Micro.html

Q: 6. These monitors are primarily used for video recording. Is it also functional for photo review? Could you view my raw files?

A: While these monitor tend to be used for Video, they will work with the Live View mode for photography as well. You should be able to review images shot with this monitor also.

Q: 7. Dose this have any latency? we are planing to buy for Panasonic AG-UX180 cameras for live events as a on-camera monitors. Thank you for the help.

A: This monitor uses an HDMI input, which means there should no noticeable latency.

Q: 8. As I can see on the picture, it is not a rca cable input but a 3.5 mm jack input... What cable I need to be able to use it whit a Sony Ex1?Thank you!

A: The audio output is a headphone jack. But the video input is HDMI

Q: 9. Can anyone confirm that this monitor does indeed accept DCI 4K input? It looks identical to the FeelWorld FW760 7 On-Camera LCD Monitor and a reviewer of that monitor says the FeelWorld does not work with DCI 4K input.

A: yes it's working i'm useing it with my panasonic ag- dvx200 so far it's been great thank hope to see you guys soon GOD BLESS

Q: 10. Does this have a flap opening at the top to allow Teradek wireless antenna to stick out?

A: No it does not. This is only designed for the Cine 7 without the Teradek Bolt integration.

[Empty] MO-LH801W Monitor Case - for Panasonic BT-LH80W. It is great! I didn't have anything on my BT-LH80 for about 6 months but that's because we were all indoors studio configed. But when we took the BT-LH80 outside we found we had no way to grip the LCD. The strap is great as you can have a producer put it around their neck & they don't have to hardly hold it & it doesn't get dropped during the rigors of production as easliy. The Hood is wonderful as it has two purposes. 1). It's a hood that protects the monitor from the sun so you can view the image outdoors in bright environments. 2). The shade is made of a soft material that when folded to be stored, protects the LCD. THIS A MUST HAVE indoors or out !

[9" Monitor] So you drop $2K on a monitor you should get this case. Shoulder strap, and keeps the screen safe, built in sunshade-- a no brainer. Keeps the unit safe and smaller than a Pelican case. Keep an eye on the heat build up... but a great product for run and gun.

[Empty] I recently bought the cover for the Atomos sumo which was on holiday special.
The case was very well made and worked exactly as expected.

[Empty] Very good to use with a 24 HD Monitor. The build in sunhood is really a nice tool. Quality is very good and robust. The small weight is an advantage. For air shipping I would recommend to put it in an bigger heavy duty case, but for the normal day to day production its really perfect! To put it on a stand you have to use the Vesa mount with an adapter to baby pin or so and some kind of outrigger like the Heavy duty Baby Side Arm. The case opens at the back side a bit under the Vesa Mount so some grip toys are needed.

[Black] I purchased this product to transport my computer and as a portable work station for photo shoots. The case is very solid in construction there's no give in the case when pressure is applied. It's quite big and very weighty which gives you security but isn't the most lightweight option for computer transportation. The bottom base plate is very secure in its attachment and locks firmly into place when screwed onto my tripod. There is a very small amount of movement of the case itself when you place pressure on a particular side once mounted but not enough to be a problem. The interior pick and pluck foam could be of a higher density to prevent the slight compression once you have cut and inserted a computer in the foam. Having said that I feel my computer is protected during transit and the foam provides a solid base for the fold up visor. The fold up visor fits very well into the lid of the case an provides a snug but very workable tent. The only problem I have come across it the lack of cord access through the side of the case or the fold up visor. You can work around this by feeding cords through the back velcro of the fold up visor. All in all this case functions exactly as I hoped it would and eliminates the need to have both a carry case and tripod mounted work table.
