Ideal for identifying electrical or mechanical issues, the FLIR E96 Thermal Camera 42° Lens NIST Calibrationis a non-contact inspection tool that offers the resolution and sensitivity necessary for monitoring and inspection. The camera's 640 x 480 thermal detector is accurate within 2% in temperature measurement up to 2732°F. With advanced features including temperature measurements down to -20° within 2%, one-touch level/span contrast enhancement, and MSX image clarity boosting, you'll get highly accurate temperature measurements every time. You can save your data on internal memory or broadcast it via a built-in Wi-Fi radio to mobile devices using the FLIR Tools Mobile App. The lightweight and durable housing features an ergonomic handle with an ejectable battery that can be easily replaced with a fully charged one. The camera is easy to use, water-resistant, and will withstand drops from 6.6'.

This NIST-certified version of the camera comes with a data report of NIST calibration traceable to NIST.

A: Unfortunately no because film cameras do not have AF Fine Tune or AF Micro Adjustment. That feature is only offered in some digital cameras.

[LCD] It's an Excellent, basic, minimal home inspection thermal camera. The fluke software improves the image over better resolution cameras of other manufacturers. But it has limitations without focus and minimal resolution. We purchased as an inexpensive additional thermal for my inspection company. It's 5 stars for its intended purposes. But it has limited resolution. It's not a 3,000 dollar camera. But at 1 k it was not intended to be. 5

[Lithium-Ion] I have done many lens calibrations using my own targets. Recently I did an overhaul of my gear and knew that meant doing quite a few lens calibrations with two new camera bodies. I decided to buy this product and give it a try. The ease of use of this target same me quite a bit of time in setup and provided the results I needed, especially with fast lenses where calibration is really important. 5

[4"] I'm sure you could 'rig something up' to do what this calibration tool does - but for the money - this works just great. It's very light, simple, and does the job. If you want to calibrate a lens/camera combo - this tool will do it. For what it's worth, the instructions that come with the tool don't really tell you how far the tool should be from your camera. Canon suggests 50X the size of your lens (or the distance you regularly shoot at) - that didn't work too well for me. So I used 25X and that seemed to work much better. 5

[2.5 Hours] Much better than the cardboard charts which are inexpensive but flimsy and not totally flat. This has a ridged plastic frame that clicks into place as well as a Â¼-20 tripod mount. If you have a camera that has the capability to fine tune the focus, then this will do the job accurately. It also folds flat and a storage pouch is included. Excellent product. 5

[Lithium-Ion] What a great value from Vello! It confirmed my suspicions that one of my lenses was back-focusing. After careful leveling (thank you, Vello, for the two bubble-levels on the base), alignment between the tool and my camera, and patience, I’m good to go. I also used it on all my other lenses and it confirmed they were fine. The included pouch for the tool was a nice touch and the build quality of the tool is also very good. The price makes this an excellent value. One can spend twice as much or more for other brands and not receive any better results than this. Five stars. 5

[Lithium-Ion] I purchased the FLIR one Pro LT and have been using it for a couple of days in my house. I mainly got it to inspect the parts of my house where it's hottest/coldest (season dependent) and has already helped me identify the culprit areas that I'm now getting insulation installed to mitigate. The only thing I'd like to see added to the mobile app, iOS in my case, is that the thermal range bar is exported when an image is was taken to add further add context to the image. People that are shown the images always ask what the range of colors means. 5
