The 29mm telephoto lens has a narrow, 14° field of view for precise focus and crisp imaging of distant targets

Often considered the "standard" lens, the 17mm focal length, 24° field of view allows users to remain a safe distance from energized equipment while still obtaining a crisp focus on smaller targets

The E96 is compatible with all FLIR interchangeable AutoCal lenses and automatically recognizes when a new lens is attached and launches a wizard to begin auto-calibrating the camera with the lens

Develop inspection routes in the included FLIR Thermal Studio Starter software, and upload to a E86 using the FLIR Route Creator to quickly and easily collect and manage critical data

Directly upload, organize, and share images from your Wi-Fi connected FLIR E86 camera to the FLIR Ignite cloud solution

Q: 1. Are the manual and camera settings in English ?

A: The InfiRay FLIP Series PH35+ Handheld Thermal Camera's manual and camera settings would be in English.

Q: 2. How to use this tool to correct highlights and shadows? I'm using Raw convertor in Photoshop and there is only one eyedropper to check White Balance.Thanks.

A: You can use Adobe Camera Raw to adjust the white balance. After opening the image in Photoshop, use the additional eyedroppers in the Levels tool to adjust for the black, gray and white points.

Q: 3. Will the USB C "android" version work with an iPad which has USB C?

A: The Xinfrared (formerly InfiRay) T2 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera for Android (BH # XIT2PRO) is not compatible with iOS devices like an iPhone, iPad or Macbook.

Q: 5. Would this device be good for detecting owls during the day or night? Thanks.

A: Yes. The ZEISS DTI 6/40 Digital Thermal Imaging Camera (50Hz) is good for locating owls.

Q: 6. How would this work with flash photography and light meter combination? RAW video seems to be straight forward since it uses similar workflow as RAW photo processing. This could be a game changer.

A: The SpyderCUBE RAW Calibration Tool can work very well in any light source, including flash when incorporating the use of a light meter.

Q: 7. Does this work with iPad?

A: The Xinfrared (formerly InfiRay) T2 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera for iPhone is compatible with iOS only. It is not made for compatibility with iPad OS.

Q: 8. Will this work with video when shooting in S log3?

A: The SpyderCUBE RAW Calibration Tool would allow for a properly white balance in the camera, particularly for still photography.

Q: 9. Is it camera specific ? Im shooting with an Olympus OM-D M1 MkII ?

A: It is not camera specific. It is universal to all camers.

Q: 10. can this be used during the day to see through thick foliage ?

A: Animals behind light foliage will emit enough radiation to be discernible by the DTI in the day. Animals behind thick brush, of course, will be hidden from the DTI.

[3.6 VDC] I was blown away by the image quality of this unit. I’ve used 320 and 640 handheld units before as well as the top of the lineup Seek phone camera. The processing on the T2 is phenominal. The relatively large front lens is a huge plus too. The image from this rivals the better 320 cores I’ve used. The resolution isn’t as good, but for distance viewing what’s more important is handling noise. The Seek cannot handle noise at all. It turns to a blurry mess shortly even though it’s higher resolution. Even some of the standalone 320 units don’t process noise out as well, making the final picture harder to see.

The T2 processing cuts out the noise while keeping detail. The plain white hot/black hot modes do great to show detail in settings like neighborhoods while the highlight contrast mode makes animals/people stick out from the background significantly. Very helpful when trying to see if the warm thing is something the sun heated a bit or something living.

The phone holder fit both the camera and phone snugly without cranking down on the adjustments. The handle makes viewing much more stable than without, though it’s not required. Still, the stability matched to the zoom of the lens makes the handle a huge plus.

If you’re interested in trying thermal or have a use where having your phone out isn’t a problem, the T2 is the perfect low cost, high value unit. Others may be better for circuit board work or other niches, but for general outdoor activities the T2 Pro is the best bargain going.

[2.5 Hours] It's an Excellent, basic, minimal home inspection thermal camera. The fluke software improves the image over better resolution cameras of other manufacturers. But it has limitations without focus and minimal resolution. We purchased as an inexpensive additional thermal for my inspection company. It's 5 stars for its intended purposes. But it has limited resolution. It's not a 3,000 dollar camera. But at 1 k it was not intended to be.

[640 x 480] I purchased the FLIR one Pro LT and have been using it for a couple of days in my house. I mainly got it to inspect the parts of my house where it's hottest/coldest (season dependent) and has already helped me identify the culprit areas that I'm now getting insulation installed to mitigate.

The only thing I'd like to see added to the mobile app, iOS in my case, is that the thermal range bar is exported when an image is was taken to add further add context to the image. People that are shown the images always ask what the range of colors means.

[3.6 VDC] I bought this device for birding, specifically looking for owls at night. Some of the top thermal scopes cost upwards of $4k. The problem is, they are clearly marked as Export Controlled. I don't want to get into any trouble with those. This little plug-in camera cost only $400. So I decided to give it a try. I brought it to Guatemala a few days ago, hooked up with an old Pixel 3A phone, it worked great, far better than I expected. I found an owl at night perched silently behind our cabin on my second night there. I could see the red-hot owl based on the body shape. Even smaller birds can show up as hotspots at night. Definitely worth the $$$.

[2.5 Hours] Easy set up. Worked right off the bat and saw birds in the trees, deer many yards away, and lots of mice in the field. Fun to use.

[2.5 Hours] Pro level build quality at a very reasonable price. I use it for power amplifier diagnostics, but it seems to have unlimited uses. Very well designed and useful device.

[4"] Great unit to see heat signatures of all kind. I have used it in house and the woods. The other night in complete darkness my dog was going crazy by the fence. I used it and seen a rabbit tantalizing him.
