[Gold] Most 4 pin XLR plugs are much to big and stick out too far. This one is low profile and doesn't stick out much. (Switchcraft make a 3pin XLR plug that is even shorter but not in 4pin.) Overall the item is great and works well for me. 5

[0.065 lb] These can make for a great custom cable. But beware you can't just use any audio cable. You need a fairly thin cable without altering this with a knife or a file. With a little filing I personally cram in a Canare star quad Mini... barely. 5
