The panels work as expected. Very good acoustic absorption coefficient (middle-high frequencies). The foam seems durable. I'd like to have a white version.

I had the opportunity to hear these in action at the AES show in NYC in October of 2017. Three units were located in each of three corners of the room. The door was in the fourth corner and this prevented the use of four units. An IR remote control was available to turn the absorbers on and off. With the system off, we played several low-frequency tones and walked around the room observing nodes and anti-nodes. We then switched the system on and the room response was much more consistent. Bass could now be heard where there had been nodes, and it was no longer overpowering where there had been anti-nodes. We could now walk around the room and hear a much more even bass response. After this we played a kick drum track. With the system off, the kick had a boom sound as it decayed. With the system on, the kick drum was a distinct and well damped thump. The difference was stunning. When listening to music, the absorbers smoothed out the bass response, eliminating annoying room-resonance induced peaks and dips in the response. Very impressed. It would take large volumes of passive absorption material to match the performance of these active devices.

I used these, in addition to another set of four that I already had, to reduce the bass echo in a small whisper room. These made a significant difference. There is no echo anymore and my voice sounds much better for recording. They should come standard with the room in my opinion. The foam is also very sturdy and fits in the corners of the carpeted walls without any adhesive or hook & loop fasteners.

great product, sound great and looks even better

I work as a voice actor and found an immediate difference when I set up my studio with the bass traps. I was recommended to get these before investing in other sound absorption foam and with these alone it made a noticeable difference. They are QUITE large and really worth the price!

These work flawlessly if properly placed. They look good and get the job done. Well worth the $$$. Make sure you have the right adhesive to put these up.
