A: The problem you're having is that you want to fold against the paper's grain, as I assume your long length is coming out of the 50' dimension of the roll. Any inkjet paper will crack to some degree. You should be able to mitigate this by scoring the paper before folding, using a tool designed for such (google: paper scoring tool), or in a pinch use a ruler and paper clip. You want to put the score on the side of the paper away from direction of fold (not on the inside the fold).Alternatively, you could consider getting a 36 or 44 roll and cutting the strip you want to inkjet out of this roll (assuming 36 or 44 would be long enough for your brochure?).
