This Sirui 24mm f/2.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens MFT Mountfrom Sirui, in an MFT mount, brings a wide-angle feel to your anamorphic imagery, in addition to the extra width provided by the anamorphic process. Designed for MFT/APS-C cameras with an MFT mount, the lens increases the horizontal FOV by 33% compared with traditional 24mm APS-C lenses. After de-squeezing, the captured image is displayed in a 2.4:1 format in a 16:9 setting. Lightweight and portable, the f/2.8 lens is designed with an aluminum housing and features optics with multilayer nano coatings.

Made with renowned Schott optical glass lens elements, it produces rectangular aspect ratios, long horizontal lens flares, and oval bokeh. One of the exciting features of this lens is the close focus distance of just under 2', allowing you to get close focus for creative effects. Focus scales marked in both feet and meters makes this well suited for users around the world, and the 72mm filter thread is a popular filter size for adding filters to your lens.

Q: 9. will this lens work with Blackmagic Pocket Pro 6K?

A: No it will not. EF-M mount lenses are not compatible with EF mount cameras such as the Pocket Cinema 6K Pro.

[72 mm x 0.75] I've been in photography, motion picture and digital video for like 50 years. This lens is great! I was unsure about image quality but bought it anyway based on reviews on line and I was not disappointed. The construction is solid the optics appear to be first class and the only thing I can say bad is I'd like the focus ring to be a little more stiff. I'm sure a bit more grease would cure that. 5

[24mm] just mount and shoot! if your camera is in the 16:9 mode, the picture on the preview screen looks almost like with a normal lense. in post, you'll desqueeze and baam.. got the cinematic look. only one downside: lense is quite heavy. 5

[f/2.8] I don't have any experience with other more expensive anamorphic lenses but this one for me is great and give my video that cinematic look right out of the box. Built quality is top, all-metal rock solid. 5

[72 mm x 0.75] I bought the Sirui 24mm and 50mm for photography and haven't been disappointed yet. They're both heavy lenses with a lot of glass and provide a unique look. I shoot them on a Fuji XT4. The 24mm desqueezed gives the horizontal aspect of a 16mm. When fully processed, they effectively turn the standard 3:2 image into a 4:2. 5

[Super35/APS-C] It's not about counting resolution lines. It's a great way to see if anamorphic is for you. Also a need if you are shooting on MFT with a heavy crop factor. Aperture and focus ring action is very nice for the price. Lens mount is solid. Just buy it when it's on sale. 5

[24mm] I have all four lenses. Red Komodo creates Beautiful footage combine with this Lenses. 24, 35 need to be cropped in postproduction. Caution: These lenses are intended for use in filmmaking and are not suitable for fast-paced environments, ceremonies, or documentaries. 5

[1.33x] The best way to go anamorphic at a budget price using the full size of an MFT sensor like on ZCam E2. Top quality build and image. Just an error in the B&H description: the filter size is 67mm!!! 5
