This Sirui 24mm f/2.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens Z Mountfrom Sirui, in a Nikon Z mount, brings a wide-angle feel to your anamorphic imagery, in addition to the extra width provided by the anamorphic process. Designed for MFT/APS-C cameras with a Nikon Z mount, the lens increases the horizontal FOV by 33% compared with traditional 24mm APS-C lenses. After de-squeezing, the captured image is displayed in a 2.4:1 format in a 16:9 setting. Lightweight and portable, the f/2.8 lens is designed with an aluminum housing and features optics with multilayer nano coatings.

Made with renowned Schott optical glass lens elements, it produces rectangular aspect ratios, long horizontal lens flares, and oval bokeh. One of the exciting features of this lens is the close focus distance of just under 2', allowing you to get close focus for creative effects. [72 mm x 0.75] It's not about counting resolution lines. It's a great way to see if anamorphic is for you. Also a need if you are shooting on MFT with a heavy crop factor. Aperture and focus ring action is very nice for the price. Lens mount is solid. Just buy it when it's on sale. 5

[1.33x] I've been in photography, motion picture and digital video for like 50 years. This lens is great! I was unsure about image quality but bought it anyway based on reviews on line and I was not disappointed. The construction is solid the optics appear to be first class and the only thing I can say bad is I'd like the focus ring to be a little more stiff. I'm sure a bit more grease would cure that. 5
