Choose from over 200 amps, cabs, and effects, including tones modeled from iconic records, all available in one amplifier. Form complete rigs by combining amps with cabinet models, and with up to eight effects at a time.

This amp allows you to eschew complex menu diving in the pursuit of good tone. You can dial in your sound quickly using controls familiar to any amplifier user. You can tweak settings and effect parameters using the knobs or the intuitive editing interface. Simple color-coded controls make it easy to navigate different types of amps and effects models.

Spider V features presets based on studio setups from legendary songs and albums. You'll also find artist presets handcrafted by some of the world's most respected guitarists. Genre presets make it easy to find sounds that fit your creative style. You can use the presets as starting points for your own unique sound.

The amplifier sports a 2x12" speaker cabinet that operates in stereo, giving you stereo effects if you desire, as well as stereo playback of material. However, the amp can also work with extension cabinets, either from Line 6 or from other manufacturers. Should you wish to use cabinets that boast their own desired tonal characteristics, you can switch off cabinet modeling by means of a toggle on its rear panel.

Spider V is compatible with the Line 6 FBV 3 foot controller, giving you hands-free control over your amps and effects.

Enhanced acoustic presets are designed with Line 6's Variax acoustic technology to bring out tonal qualities inherent in your acoustic guitar. Dialed-in effects like delay and reverb are also available.

A built-in tuner and metronome ensures that your playing will always be in tune and on time. A collection of real drum loops recorded by professional drummers is useful for when you're ready to practice or jam, and an onboard phrase looper comes in handy for accompanying your own solos in practice and performance settings.

This amplifier sports a built-in wireless receiver. It's compatible with the plug-in Relay G10T Transmitter, which is available separately. The amplifier is also compatible with any Line 6 RF2 transmitter, like those included with the Relay G30, G50, G55, and G90—so long as you're using firmware 2.0 or later.

In addition to the guitar input, you'll note the 3.5mm line input for routing your favorite tunes from your smartphone or music player. Two 1/4" jacks provide speaker connections to external cabinets, and the amplifier runs at 4 ohms in mono or 8 ohms in stereo. A 1/4" headphone jack, which mutes the speaker, allows for silent practice. Dual XLR jacks on the rear panel let you record analog audio straight to your recording interface or route sound from the amp directly to the house, thereby obviating the need for miking your amp onstage.

When you're ready to record, Spider V is equipped with two USB connections, one for iOS and another for your computer or Android device. These ports allow you to connect to a computer, tablet, or smartphone in order to record your guitar into any recording app.

The free Spider V mobile app for iOS and Android gives you access to over ten-thousand tones in the cloud. Access custom tones from other guitarists around the world, or upload your own tone creations to instantly share with the entire Line 6 community.

Q: 1. what's the CL? It's not mentioned in the highlights. Looking for CL9

A: The Patriot Signature Line 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 DIMM Memory Kit with Heat Shield has a CL11 CAS Latency.

Q: 2. hello does anyone know how much weight it will hold?. regardless of the camera. using a very thick belt. how much will hold?. thanks!!

A: My 100D plus a 17-85 comes out to 2 pounds. The black widow is sturdy enough that you'll probably experience discomfort before it reaches it's limit. I'd probably not go over 3 and a half pounds.

Q: 3. Does this kit fir the Dell Optiplex 780? It's supposed to be able to run non-ECC sticks (double sided) in each of the four slots up to 4GB each for a total of 16GB. Have looked everywhere & had to RMA a set of GSkill Ripjaws because these wouldn't POST. The MB would only make a whining nosie when the stick was installed & the power plug inserted. It done the same with a 4GB stick that originally shipped with my XPS 8700, though ran the 2GB sticks OK (though they weren't double sided), but downclocked to what the single stick was running. Are there any Dell Optiplex 780 owners out there who can sat this IS the one that works?

A: Yes, the Optiplex 780 could run without ECC memory.

Q: 4. Will this hold for a 5d mk II or IV?

A: I've got a 5d ii and, with a leather belt, the black widow supports it just fine. Be aware that the Canon is bulky on the hip however. I bought the holster because I'll be going mirrorless soon, which is much smaller, of course. But as far as safely supporting the weight, I've had no problems with the 5d ii.

Q: 5. Are these suitable for 24 x 36 poster prints? I need to mount posters on a stage set without damaging the posters.

A: No, that will not work. The prints will buckle. The only way I see with prints that size is to put them in a frame. One like this should work, ART TO FRAMES 3926 Satin Black Photo Frame (24 x 36 , Acrylic Glass) B&H # AR392624X36 MFR # WOMFRBW26079-24X36.

Q: 6. Is this memory compatible with GigaByte GA-H61M-DS2 ?

A: If the memory is within the ff. specs:DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz memory modulesnon-ECC memory modules

Q: 7. Would this hold a Nikon D750 with a 70-200mm zoom?

A: Yes, The holster is certainly sturdy enough. Only the length of the lens on might be cumbersome.

Q: 8. Is the Steinberg UR22 USB-C compatible?

A: It is a USB 2.0 device with 2.0 interface. It will work with USB-C with the appropriate adapter and if the USB-C host auto negotiates below C. Most do.

Q: 9. Can I use an intel core i3 processor with this interface?

A: An i3 should be sufficient to run this. I don't have the system requirements for the unit anymore, but I'm sure you have a good enough computer for it. I happen to have an i7, but I leave the unit on all the time, and it doesn't cause any system degrade at all. I also imagine you can look up the system requirements on the Steinberg web site. And just a side note, I'm very happy with the unit.

Q: 10. Is this memory unbuffered and Non-ECC?

A: Non-ECC unbuffered

[2x 12" Cone] The AC30 is great for practicing when others want to sleep. It's very compact and fits in the accessories compartment in my guitar case. Tone is good (not great), and certainly acceptable for practicing. Given its small size, I don't think anyone can expect killer tone. I find the effects (Chorus, Delay, Reverb) a bit cheesy and don't use them. The volume is sufficient with headphones. I've used it with Sennheiser Momentums (18 ohm) and AKG K240 MkII (55 ohm). I've also tried it with a JBL Charge. I had to crank the Charge to full volume for the sound to fill a small room. But hey ... that makes for a very portable amp solution.

[Modeling] Gear: Agile 3010 SE, 1950's wiring, Seymour Duncan Antiquities, CTS 500K pots Headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Pretty nifty thing. I made mine into a really compact set up with a 3 ft cable going from my headphones into the amPLug G2. Works really well with clear channels. The effects are fun to play with.

[Modeling] This little amp sounds fantastic. I’ve had the best results using an over the ear style headphone but it works decent with my in-ears as well. The battery lasts a good amount of time, it’s easy to use and the different tones I can get are truly satisfying. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this for a recording or band practice.

[Yes] I am really enjoying this amplifier! The sounds are great and it was for a good price. Still figuring out how to use it to its full potential, but as an intermediate player, it's well suited for my needs.

[Yes] This thing rocks out on earbuds, portable speakers, and a 4x12 cab. It's very boomy on an amps so the tone needs adjusting. Careful with the volume hooked to an amp as well, a little is a lot. The aux in audio is so useful for playing along with songs or a metronome with the volume being independent for fine tuning what you want to hear more of. I would recommend this, it sounds just as good as an amp modeler fro what it does.

[53.5 lb] My needs are simple. I wanted a nice clean sound with some reverb and delay, plus the option to play around with other sound types, but I'm not fussy about those. Other people will have to judge the distortion characteristics, etc. WAY more power than I need but I expect that leaves plenty of headroom for the clean sounds. I have their FBV3 foot control with it and that's nice for the looper and tuner plus playing around with the wah pedal a bit. I also have their G10TII wireless interface and it charges conveniently from the amp and is super easy to set up and use.
