[3.51 lb] Purchased to use for our Work from home Dell XPS, Latitude, and Lenovo Legion Laptops. Works great. No Issues. We have to Dell gaming monitors connected because of the clarity and fast refresh rates. Also was cheaper cheaper at B&H than buying it from Dell. B&H sent this great item to my place fast and beautifully boxed in record 2 days.

[3.51 lb] Bought this to work with a Dell XPS15 9500 laptop. I can connect a large external display via HDMI, printer, external HDD and full-sized keyboard and still have ports to spare. Thunderbolt connection is high speed and very reliable. This is a great docking hub.

[3.51 lb] A couple of serious kinks in my operations were resolved by employing this dock. The price was right. It came. It was plugged into the system quickly. It works! Several of the previous problems were no longer present.

[3.51 lb] With the newer Dell XPS laptops largely abandoning USB-A ports, wired Ethernet ports, and HDMI/DisplayPort ports, having a dock is pretty much necessary for expansion as many current peripherals are still USB-A. I have an earlier Thunderbolt 3 dock on my work-proved Dell Precision, and it requires 2 cords to the laptop, where this Thunderbolt 4 only requires 1 - and has 130W charging pass-through (from the 180W power brick) so it can keep up even when pushing the machine hard. And I'll be able to hook it up to my wired network for throughput greater than what I can manage with WiFi.

[3.51 lb] The fact that this is the second WD19TB I buy shows that I really like this dock. (As I am working in 2 places, I wanted to have it in both!).

Pros and cons:
+ One (tiny) USB-C plug, everything taken care of: USB devices, network, multiple monitors and even charging the device.
+ Very nice integration into Dell notebooks: No need to open the device. Simply push the button - or even use the plug event to power on the notebook. Can't be more convenient than that?
+ No Fan (like the old WD16TB dock had)
+ Works with all TB-able notebooks I used so far (MacBook, Asus, Dell, ..)
- To get the full power output from the dock, you have to use a Dell notebook (E.g. gamer notebooks from other manufacturers might not be able to charge and be used in full power mode, even though the power brick should have plenty of power to do it - note that this is due to the USB-C spec, there was recently an addendum which might change that going forwards).
- It is on the pricy side
- If driving a high res monitor (2560x1440 and above) using an HDMI cable, you might get only 50Hz out of it and using many notebooks you will get a flickering (display on/off) over time. You should really use a DP cable.
- It has only one USB plug at the front - which is a bit on the low side considering that you might plug in mouse and keyboard. Yes, there are more plugs on the back side, but it is finnicky to get to them once set up.
- Be aware that the notebook has to be fairly close to the dock as the cable is not easy to be bend, and the outlet location is fixed (on both sides).

[3.51 lb] A 4K external monitor and a few devices hooked into this docking station, it connects to and charges my Dell xps 15 via a thunderbolt port seamlessly. Less cables and hassle. Time to time I switch to use with my work Surface laptop and everything works fine as it should while charging. Leave the adapters in the bag. So far so good.

[3.51 lb] Using this docking station with my Dell XPS15. One Thunderbolt connection is now all I need to have my laptop connected to two QHD monitors (one of them widescreen), desktop speakers, keyboard/mouse, and a backup hard drive. That still leaves a few ports available for additional accessories. The only thing that would possibly make this dock better would be the SD card readers that some other brands include. It's nice to be able to just unplug one connection to go portable - and plug back in for a desktop-like experience. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

[3.51 lb] B&H provided prompt delivery of my new Dell dock. The dock works great - less fan noise than my previous dock - and adequate power for my laptop, monitor and a few other devices.
