A: The manufacture for the Ubertronix Strike Finder 2 does not list the Lecia SL2 as compatible.

A: This product mounts to your camera's hot shoe and requires a separately available connection cable depend on the camera you have. We have a wide variety of cables available in the accessories depending on your camera. It triggers the shutter within 1MS of a lighting strike.

A: Upon looking at it, because it does have a clamping system with rigid teeth, this should not have an issue with falling down if properly fastened.

A: The Ubertronix Strike Finder 2 does not have a sensitivity control. One is not needed because it automatically adjust the sensitivity based on the intensity and frequency of lightning strikes.

[Up to 30 Hours] I've used the z-loupe on Canon's 5D series of cameras, and this one for the EVA1 is even better. �Most importantly, it doesn't require power, which allows for a lighter and less complicated rig. �You give some resolution compared with the Gratical Eye, but you gain a lot in portability and efficiency. �As far as loupes go, this is the best you can get. 5

[0.2 oz / 5.0 g] I was reading a comment on here that was really negative about the product. I purchased mine a year ago, and it works great. I just wonder if that review is bogus. I have taken some beautiful photos of lightning strikes. It is worth the money. 5

[Up to 110 dB] I implore you to ignore the negative review left by a previous reviewer that was later updated. It literally says in the instructions when using the product your camera must be set to manual focus. Of course you would have issues successfully capturing lightning with a trigger when autofocus is on, especially during the afternoon when there's less contrast between the bolt and lit sky. I just ordered another strikefinder 2 to go with my new camera purchase. I've had the 1st for 2 years and have captured some insane bolts that I never would have by pure chance. Long exposures work for night shooting without a trigger, but this takes the guess work out of day shooting. Even with an intervalometer built into your camera there's no guarantee. This has made a huge difference in my successful capture rate. If you're serious about lightning photography I highly recommend it! 5

[80 mAh LiPo] The StrikeFinder 2 works great and I've been able to successfully capture images of really faint intra-cloud daytime/sunset lightning in storms that are some distance away. The unit still allows me to adjust key settings (shutter speed, apeture and ISO) when plugged in an active. Because the unit isn't weather proof, I've 'wrapped' it in a sandwich bag that keeps it dry! Great product. 5

[Up to 30 Hours] Quite easy to set up and after a few test shots had it dialed in. But Had some triggering issues after a few weeks. A phone call to support was returned within an hour. After some troubleshooting questions from Jane, she said she was sending me a new unit. 5
