Maintain horizontal and vertical positional accuracy of your Alta X drone with this FREEFLY RTK GPS Ground Station for Precision Mappingfrom FREEFLY. The unit communicates Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) data from your drone to your computer for centimeter-level accuracy. It is designed to work with the Alta X drone and with AltaSW 1.3+ and PX4 1.9+ control software.

The ground station is compatible with an Alta X that has an F9P GPS module installed, which then works as the "Rover". This ground station module features a multiband receiver and connects to your computer using the included USB cable to act as the "Ground Station". This allows you to utilize the Alta QGC QGroundControl GUI to control the drone. The Ground Station module can be mounted onto a tripod for optimal connectivity using the included magnetic mounting hardware. The system features an integrated IST8310 magnetometer, a BMP388 barometer, a USB Type-A to Type-C cable, and mounting screws.

A: DJI does not mention that you will be able to receive metadata. DJI says it allows you use the DJI Ronin 4D with the Ronin-S External GPS Module, it can enhance the stabilization performance of the gimbal roll axis during rapid acceleration.

A: This product is designed to allow the gimbal to react more responsively to quick movements, providing a better stability along the horizon. We are not aware of any specific impact it will have on drifting.
