[0.235 lb] I used to use a knock-off to the Cokin filter system on my Nikon D600. Although I had tons of graduated filters (including colored grad filters), it was just a hassle to install the filter holder, then insert a filter, etc. This screw-on graduated ND filter goes on and comes off in 30 seconds, so it's a big improvement in how easy it is to use. Got some great shots of the Hawaiian sunsets with it.Only downside is if you choose to stack a circular polarizer and this graduated ND filter, then my lens (a Tamron SP 24-70mm f2.8) sees vignetting in the four corners of the frame. But, this isn't really the due to this filter, just the field of view on my lens, so I can't fault this filter for this problem.

[Glass] I have used the filter a few times, so far it has met my expectations. The performance is exactly what NISI said it would do. I would definitely recommend it.

[Multi Coated] This filter system from Lee is easy to use and helps me capture the landscape photos just the way I want them. The gradual filter allows a little more flexibility versus a hard line filter. The filters are light, and fit easily but snuggly into the holder. While I have only had them for a few weeks, I'm hoping that they can hold up over time.

[0.235 lb] I am slowly increasing my photographic skills and about 3 years ago purchased my first GND filters from a competitor. I thought they were nice but have noticed less of the color cast with the Lee filters. Also, in 3 years time the others developed a lot of scratches that had to be photoshopped out (despite trying to be meticulous in handling them). I am very optimistic about the Lee filters based on other reviews but I guess only time will tell.

[82 mm] The soft edge works really well. You can't see a delineation between dark and light in your photos. In the mountains the contrast between light and dark is drastic even as the sun just peaks over the horizon so the 3-stop works very well in these circumstances.
