[0.1 lb] I bought this just to add some protection to my lens. The lens hood does not fit on reversed with the cover installed... This does not impact my typical use of the lens, but it does mean that I need to stick the hood in a pocket if I go to use any step-up rings. 5

[0.1 lb] There is not much to review about a Lens Hood Cover, except that it provides adequate protection, in my case it fits perfectly on the Sigma 12-24mm F4.5-5.6 DG HSM II Lens at a reasonable price. The reason I purchased it is the original Sigma Lens Hood Cover is a constant struggle to remove & put on the lens. I will only use it when actually going in the field to photograph since it is made of a material therefore not sure if there may be issues with fungus if used as a permanent (long term) replacement for the original plastic Lens Hood cover. 5

[0.1 lb] I really like these instead of using a lens cap. My wide angle has a built in hood so the lens cap is actually two parts - it is a pain to get on and off. These are easy and they stay put plus adds some bump protection for the end of the lens too. Cost a tad more than a cap. 5

[0.1 lb] Great hood cover for the price. The cap portion has a stiff (removable) disc to give it more structure which is a great improvement over similar neoprene covers that don't have any structure as it provides additional protection if something hits or rests against the front of the cover. Although, it is meant to be able to be used without a lens cap, I would still recommend a lens cap if you want to avoid getting more dust on the lens. Dust can still get on your lens easily while removing/installing the cover and while it is covered. 5
