So it could be taken in your car if you wanted your laptop somewhere for a photo shoot. I'll take my stand out back and work on the patio in the summer.It's a great stand though. Very sturdy with solid locking joints. We like the stand so much we bought a second one just recently.

[0.11 lb] I was looking for a stand to be able to lift a computer to put at eye line for live-streaming and for home recording, this is it. It has plenty of height and is super sturdy, even high up. My one small complaint if I had one is that the padding on the bottom is a little high so it makes the lip made to prevent sliding off not quite as effective. That being said, I have no worries having my MacBook Pro sitting on it. 5

[0.11 lb] Wanted a stand to teather my laptop to my DSLR. For the price you can't beat this stand! Rock solid and stable. I am sure this would support a small dump truck. Some may find it a bit heavy, but it't tough to get something that is sturdy and featherweight... can't have both. Feel confident leaving my laptop on it. Don't see the point in getting anything more than this. Does the job. Thought of getting an arm for my tripod to mount both a laptop and the camera, but opted for this set-up. Did not want my laptop rocking my camera. 5

[0.11 lb] Strong arm for extended reach for off camera flash during macro photography. Attach the AM-4 to the Leofoto 12mm Screw Knob Micro Clamp. With that clamp you can attach it to a dovetail plate providing hands-free direction to a speed light. 5

[0.11 lb] So so happy with this tripod/product. I have found it to be very stable and sturdy, even at close to maximum height. Wanted a tripod that could extend to a fairly tall height and this one is wonderful, in person the height is actually even more than I had anticipated from the measurements. Also extremely easy to break down and store. Love the item. 5
