Simplify your wireless monitoring solution and use one monitor with multiple brands of transmitters with the Desview MR6 5.5" Wireless Monitor. Featuring a built-in antenna and receiver, the monitor powers from an L-series battery and is compatible with select third-party transmitters from CVW, Hollyland, Vaxis, and LanGi, making it a flexible solution for adding an extra wireless monitor. In addition, the MR6 is compatible with the MOVCAM MCS-2 Follow Focus System, and its zero-latency capability comes in handy when pulling focus off its display.

The MR6 has a 1500 cd/m² maximum brightness, making it suitable for both interiors and exteriors without needing a sunshade. It supports a host of display tools, including waveform, vectorscope, and camera tools such as zebra bars, false color, and focus peaking. Using the standard REC. 709 gamma, the MR6 supports LUT importation for viewing your HDR material. Two removable wooden handles provide comfort for extended periods of holding the unit.

A: No, the Desview R72 7" 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor does not have anti-reflective glass. Should you use it outside it's bright display and a third party sun hood will help operators see the display.

Q: 4. What is the difference between this one U6 and R6 version?

A: The U6 is an upgraded version of the R6. The R6 can only support up to 4K 30p while the U6 caps at 4K 60p. You can also power your camera via USB Type-C or DC input and can control the camera using the USB Type-C port for LANC control functions such as iris and focus on the U6.

Q: 5. According to the spec page, the display is 1080p but the monitor accepts up to 4k 24fps by hdmi. What does this mean exactly in regard to use case? For example, I record a ton of 4K Dci/Uhd 60fps, so will I be able to use this monitor while recording this format on my c70/R5 or even when recording 120fps? Or must I get a more expensive monitor that accepts 4K 60fps?

A: The DesView R72 panel is 1920 x 1200. 4K content input at DCI 4K24/UHD 4K30 would be scaled to fit the display. If you must monitor 4k 60p you would need to look at another display or set the output of your camera to 4k 24p/30p or 1080p when monitoring.

[1x USB-A 2.0] This product is fantastic for the price. Hooked it up with ease, attached my ipad, downloaded the app, mounter my Sony A6400 to it and was good to go almost immediately. Great build quality as well. Compared to its competitors, this is the most bang for your buck teleprompter on the market. 5

[40 MHz] I will first say that I purchased this product used $750. For this price and functionality, this product is great! No noticeable delay. Great sharp monitor. Great accessory to my kit for monitoring. I also have Ninja Vs but they are no replacement for these. 5

[7 to 36 VDC] Really excellent! I have two of these, for the Crystalsky monitors on my Inspire 2 (pilot + camera operator). �They are incomparably better than the Hoodman flexible hoods, and FAR more convenient! 5

[1x MBUS Input] So, this is my second Prompter for our set. The other is a 15 Ikan. Though the Ikan is built out of better materials, I prefer this Desview 21 as does our talent. The material is of a cheaper plastic, however it is a lot easier to setup and does its job very well can is half the price. It's a lot less of a hassle to travel with and setup than the smaller, better build quality, Ikan. So know, you will not be getting high quality components in this price range, but if your goal is to gain a prompter with a large reading area that is easy to setup and works well, this is for you. Please Note that we did NOT use the prompter software that this came with, so no comment on the software. We use one of the highly rated Mac Apps for our software. 5

[1920 x 1080] The Hollyland Mars M1 is close to perfection. Not only is it a clean HDMI monitor, beautifully built, with extensive controls, but the ability to mirror a picture to iPhones or iPads changes the game for my clients, who usually want to hang over my shoulder to monitor picture. Everyone on set loves it. The .08 delay might not make it ideal for follow focus, but in every other respect it has become our go-to monitor. 5

[Yes] This monitor improves in areas compared to the first version that I didn’t knew I need it, like the locking DC in cable, the new OS which makes things way easier. This monitor is compatible with the previous Mars M1, so now having 2 is way better and has allow me to charge more in my client work, having a “monitoring” package for my clients to view their shots. I know it’s not the cheapest monitor but it adds so much value to my production that price ends being just a number, it’s a great investment overall ! 5
