The Watson DMW-BLF19 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack 7.4Vworks with the same cameras as the Panasonic DMW-BLF19 or Sigma BP-61. Q: 1. How does this compare to the Panasonic battery?

A: I have found the Watson batteries to be good substitutes for the original Panny's. A couple of caveats would be, a) don't let them sit around too long between charges, &b) toward the end of charge they can just konk out w/little warning, while the Panny battery seems to carry the charge longer. These claims from my experiences are especially applicable to shooting videos. Thus I won't knock them especially when looking at their cost compared to Panny batteries.

A: Yes! Gh4 batteries are compatible with the new Gh5.

Q: 3. Can you get all recording modes on teh GH6 with this battery?

A: The information we have is the Watson DMW-BLK22 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (2250mAh) is compatible with the GH6 and should work on all modes.

Q: 4. Most batteries have terminal covers to prevent accidental discharge.Came with ziplock bag. What is better solution?

A: I use the Op/Tech battery holsters for all of my batteries.

A: Yes the GH4 uses the DMW-BLF19 battery.

[0.235 lb] Yeah this battery is more expensive than 3rd parties, but I wanted somthing that would'nt void my warranty, and I could trust to outlast the competition. They last long, dont get hot and charge quickly. Use knockoffs at your own risk. 5

[Lithium-Ion] It's unfortunate how much less battery life I notice on my Watson off-brand battery compared to these. I wish I could spend less money, but these Panasonic batteries are crucial for me because they have the battery life. I often shoot long video, so I need to know my batteries are going to make it. Thus, getting the Panasonic ones are a no-brainer. 5

[Lithium-Ion] I brought this battery as a backup for my Panasonic GH3. It's compact design makes it easy to carry around when I'm on a shoot. It pack enough power to shoot continuously for several hours. It's rated at 1750mAh, 7.4v and priced just right for people on a budget. 5

[Lithium-Ion] For about $22 dollars, a 1/3rd of the OEM price, you get about 90% of the performance of OEM. I've had about 8 of these batteries over the last 4 years for use in multiple G9 cameras. The Panasonic brand takes a few more pics, but it's much dismissed. You'll really only notice it during day-long shoots and in that case, you'll be carrying extra batteries no matter which brand you use. Get the Watson charger with the battery level readout and you got a great combination. I'm a Watson battery fan! 5

[7.4 VDC] Great second battery for my 5s. Surprised by how close to the factory battery the discharge life is. Just to see how long it lasts getting charged all the time. Time will tell but I'm grabbing more for those longer shoots. 5

[0.235 lb] This is an excellent product and half of the cost of the cameras manufacture battery. I have four Panasonic batteries and four of these and I can't tell a difference in there performance. 5

[7.4 VDC] I used it as a replacemnet battery for my new Panasonic GH4, to my astonishement it lasted equal or more than the original battery that came with the camera, I definitly recommmend it to friend 5
