[0.505 lb] I bought this so that I could charge both my Lumix battery out of the camera, and have a back up charger for a Canon battery...using an additional adapter plate. It works very well and is quite easy and straight forward to operate. Both batteries charged as quickly and efficiently as with the original manufacturers' chargers. 5

Went to B&H and spent the extra few dollars to get this one, and it worked perfectly with no issues. Go for this one rather than wasting your time with Amazon! [0.505 lb] The bottom line is that this hardware does what it should. It enables an AC connection to the Canon 7D Mark II. Much cheaper than the comparable Canon product. Well made and should last for a long time. 5

[0.505 lb] I haven't tested it extensively, but it works great so far. The cable length is good, you can have the camera on a 75 tripod and it's long enough for the power supply to rest on the floor. The price is right, too. Maybe the Canon slides in more smoothly but this does the job perfectly well. I've read some people have problems with more modern cameras/firmwares but for the 5D2 you can't go wrong with it. 5
