A: No the Epson DS-1630 Flatbed Color Document Scanner does not have wireless connectivity. It uses USB to connect to a computer. Alternatively one can purchase the Epson Network Interface Unit to add Ethernet connection, BH #EPNIDS510 (https://bhpho.to/3Kn4ImK). Even with the interface, one does not have wireless direct to the scanner.

Q: 9. Can you use the scanner over a local network?

A: Yes, the Epson DS-1630 Flatbed Color Document Scanner has a RJ45 connection, allowing it to be setup on a local wired network.

Q: 10. Can you use dimmers to lower or raise the intensity of that bulb?

A: The Ushio BBA Incandescent Photoflood Lamp (250W / 115-120V) can work with dimmers made for bulbs like that. Note, using a dimmer on this type of bulb will change the color temperature and make the light warmer color.

[11 W] I have been purchasing Blue 250 watt photofloods to photograph a friend's artwork for many years. I usually buy several at a time since they are hot and are usually only good for 3 hours. I have never had a bad one and I am pleased that B&H continues to sell them. 5

[Clear] I use these in photofloods for my eBay business. When used properly with a relatively fast lens, they give a more accurate portrayal of color than the pop-up flash on my camera. I've never used them with strobes or anything like that, so I don't know how they integrate into that kind of set up. These are lower wattage than the vintage bulbs that came with my photoflood lamps, which were overkill, burned out faster, and made me concerned because of the burning smell they emitted. Still, watch the heat, especially if you use paper-lined sockets. Turn them off when you leave the room, and check the sockets regularly when changing bulbs. 5
