A: Unfortunately, This cable is not designed for non-IK Multimedia products.

Q: 5. Can I feed 2 different sources to the 2 analog inputs and somehow switch between them?

A: The IK Multimedia iLoud Micro Monitors has one (1) input to be able to either take audio from the stereo RCA input or the 1/8” TRS input. It is not possible to internally switch between these sources, so you would need to manually connect whichever source you want to use.

Q: 6. Would these be large enough to use in a gymnasium along with other speakers?

A: These are not PA speakers and not intended to be used in a live situation. They are studio monitors and are designed to be used in a production studio.

Q: 7. Power requirements? 100 to 240 VAC 50/60 Hz?

Q: 8. Do these make a static sound when no audio is present?

A: The IK Multimedia iLoud MTM High Resolution Compact Studio Monitor is not inherently subject to self noise while powered on with no audio signal present.

Q: 9. I want to use this cable to connect my go:mixer pro to my iphone 6, but im not usre it'll work. any suggestion in replacing the short cable the mixer came with? thanks peeps

A: Based on the manual for the Roland Go:Mixer, they do not recommend using an other cabling for data connection to the phone. Since the wiring of this cable may differ from other devices, I would stick with the Roland cable supplied.

Q: 10. Can it be hooked up to a DAC?

A: As far as I can tell, this is a standard Lightning to Micro-USB cable. From my experience, having used such a cable (not this specific cable) for my Sony DAC, it worked flawlessly.

[Shoulder Straps] I ordered these to monitor musical instruments recording and to watch music videos and movies on my laptop. The clarity and the power of the iLouds are outstanding. I added a subwoofer (usually not needed) to reinforce the low frequencies and I now feel like I have a home theater system. I highly recommend them. 5

[Shoulder Straps] Everyone was telling me that I would be surprised and blown away by the sound and detail that comes out of these speakers. I prepared myself to be blown away, and was still absolutely blown away. These sounds like monitors 10 times the size and feature incredibly rich and accurate sound. Cannot recommend enough as a pair of desk computer speakers. 5

[Gig Bag] My favorite feature on these little speakers is being able to play 3 audio sources at the same time. I use the headphones jack with my TV (movies, Switch, Xbox), RCA jacks with my audio interface connected to my laptop and keyboard, and bluetooth with my iPhone. This feature makes these little speakers really useful (such as being able to play along on my keyboard with music from my iPhone). Also the sound quality and volume will make you grin for such a small speaker. What would make these perfect is if they just got a smidge louder. I grew up playing an upright piano, and these speakers get impressively loud, yet leave something to be desired, especially when playing my keyboard. I find they start to peak right when I get the keyboard to a volume that fills the room. With that said though, these speakers are so much better and louder than any built-in keyboard speakers I've used. Honestly I would have spent twice as much for these speakers. 5

[Gig Bag] Great sound from such a small speaker. Useable bass response and volume. I use them for a basic portable studio set up and I’m impressed. For the price they are hard to beat and they fit easily into a Pelican 1510 along with an audio interface and midi controller keyboard for a very basic carry-on studio set up. I have colleagues who use the bigger version too and like them. Definitely check them out. 5

[Gig Bag] After reading many good reviews of these speakers, I ordered a pair for my use in location recording of classical music, small ensembles. I tested them at home first, and arrived at what I think is the best settings: flat (vs. desk) and HF at -3 dB. They sound very neutral that way, while revealing a lot of detail. The imaging on these speakers is incredible. And, the LF response is very surprising for the size. I'm not mixing HipHop so I don't need a huge LF signature. These are portable, easy to use, and sound great for what I use them for. 5
