A: Based on the manual for the Roland Go:Mixer, they do not recommend using an other cabling for data connection to the phone. Since the wiring of this cable may differ from other devices, I would stick with the Roland cable supplied.

A: No, the 30-pin connection is meant for older iOS devices like the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, or iPad 2. The Samsung Galaxy S6 would use a Micro USB connection. [0.22 lb] The original cable I got with my iRig Stomp i/o broke at the lighting connector point. I was having troubles with the charging and well, it eventually broke from playing with it too much. I purchased this replacement knowing full well that it only provides a data link and does not charge. That being said, I am very happy - able to use my device with the iPad again. 5

[0.22 lb] I have damaged old cable, using on my iPhone. I ordered here and it works fine, but comparison between old and new cable is, older is thick and feels like durable but unfortunately broke lightning head. Works perfectly fine! 5
