A: That size laptop wil fit but, you will have a hard time plugging in your power cord and any flash drives due to the edges that secure the laptop in place. Other than that this stand is awesome. Sturdy and durable.

A: I think you can take it apart, but it does fold up flat and pretty compact so it is easy to transport. I believe the flat portion on the top where the laptop sits does come off if you want it to, but I don't really think it's necessary. It's a fantastic stand that is well built and durable. A: Michelle:I use this case with a 17 laptop, but mine measures 14 3/4 by 9 1/2 inches and is a snug fit. By snug I mean that the laptop pocket is only just deep enough for me to slip the laptop in lengthwise and the velcro tab that's supposed to hold the laptop in its pocket isn't long enough to catch when it's pulled down over the end of the laptop. The 10 width of yours wouldn't be a problem, but a full 15 inches might be too long to fit in the pocket.
