A: This product is not intended for use with the WL93. The recommended clips are RK354SB for mounting a single WL93, and the RK307DB for mounting two.

Q: 8. If you're only using one diameter mic, would you do better with a solid, fixed holder, or will this work just as well?

A: The Auray MC-33CP Clothespin-Style Mic Clips Kit will work just as well as a fixed clip in most scenarios, and will often make it easier to affix as well as remove the microphone to and from the clip.

Q: 9. Why two microphones on the same clip? Is this redundancy in case of failure? Stereo? Something else? Newbie looking to learn.

A: The Sennheiser MZQ 22 Double Tie Clip can be used for mounting either one or two lavalier microphones. The included mic holders that come with the clip are removable. There are a variety of reasons for using two microphones which could be for backup in case one mic fails or for stereo audio, or two mics can send separate audio feeds to two different destinations like two separate mixers, cameras, recorders, etc., or a combination of two devices which could be required for different applications. There is no set rule for how two lavalier mics can be used, but a double tie clip like the MZQ 22 is a very handy tool that will give you the option if the need for two microphones should arise.

A: This is made for compatibility with the ECM-44 & ECM-44B models.

[0.03 lb] I have a Shure wireless lavalier and the clip that came with it was really flimsy plastic & within 6 months the clip would not hold the microphone any longer. For the most part this clip is metal but the part that holds the microphone is still plastic but the plastic is a lot thicker than the old one I had and it held the microphone very securely. Wish this clip came with all their wireless lavaliers. 5

[0.03 lb] So I have about 30 wireless lav mics in inventory, all with different clothing clips. When one inevitably breaks you can never get the actual replacement, in some cases you don't want to. This clip sandwiches the wire between the foam insert and hold the mic just right where you want it. Need it on the other side, just pop the wire out, flip the clip, and off you go. I always have a few extra in the desk drawer, just in case. 5

[Tie Clip] Great spring tension, holds clip firmly. The tight swivel tension lets you precicely choose the mic's direction and it stays in place, does not flop around! There are no negatives here. This is one fine clip! 5

[Tie Clip] I use these with my sennheiser G3 lav. After losing the pricier sennheiser mzq222 clip I picked up these. It includes 3 clips and 9 of the plastic cable pinches. It has been working perfectly. 5

[Tie Clip] I was nervous as the clip looked about the right size in the picture, but it does not look like the broken one, so I wasn't sure. I had already bought a different clip from Shure and it did not work at all. I got the clip and the cable snapped in just fine. Great that it was a 3 pack so we now have 2 spares. 5
