A: Dave, I have the cactus triggers myself and didn't need anything for the brackets. I like the kit but I did have to do a little protective work on the brackets. They aren't the best quality and I had to file down the back of the screws because in my initial use with the stands they were already denting the metal. Besides that it's a good kit.
