A: Sorry, no because the Kirk clamp has a threaded 3/8-16 hole and the Arca Swiss PO clamp has a M6 non-threaded hole.

A: The Kirk QRC-4.2 Arca-Type Quick Release Clamp can be screwed onto the plate that comes with the Sachtler FSB 8 MK II Fluid Head with Sideload Mechanism. With this screwed on top, on can attach arca type plates.

Q: 3. wull it be suitable for a nikon 200-500 lens?

A: Yes the Kirk QR-AB1QR Universal Quick Release Adapter with Quick Release Clamp is compatible with the Manfrotto 410 head and RC4 plate.

Q: 6. It looks like the base of the grip could be attached to a monopod. Can you confirm this?

A: The Kirk SG-QRV2 Support Grip with Quick Release Clamp has a 1/4 female thread on the bottom. It will work with many monopods and tripods. Note, a 1/4 inch thread is not a lot. Best if used that way not to use a heavy camera with a heavy lens.

Q: 7. Can you change the Befree Live plate to arca-swiss?

A: No, the RC5 quick-release is integral to the BeFree Live fluid-head and not removable. If you want to us the fluid head then you'll have to use an adaptor block, like the Kirk QR-AB1QR, with the BeFree's RC5 camera plate.

Q: 8. Where can I purchase the centre bolt from please?

A: The Kirk 1.8" Quick Release Clamp is designed to go on tripods that do not have a quick-release clamp. The tripod will have the center bolt.

A: The head fitting's length is 1.5 inches.

Q: 10. Does the 2.6 Kirk Quick Release Clamp use a 6mm flat head screw or a 1/4 flat head screw?My question is because the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter is standard, but the 3/8 to 6mm adapter needs to be custom-made

A: It comes with one of each, so you don't need to custom make anything.

[Yes] Well machined little clamp that allows me to use my new luma labs camera strap on my old 5dmark iii without buying a new L bracket. Same for my lens food on some of my longer lenses. My new canon 5r will have the L bracket made by Kirk equipped with the QD adaptor already there. 5

[0.545 lb] Honestly a little expensive compared with no-name clamps, but for attaching a QD socket to an Arca rail, it's between this and the even-more-expensive RRS one (which was out of stock). The RRS version has gaps for a strap, which I could imagine using. This version seems okay and robust enough (I'm using it to add a safety secondary QD connector to an L plate in case I don't seat the main QD properly, or optionally to a lens foot), and being thin is useful for storage. It feels as though it could still be a little smaller (not least the knob) since it bulks out the camera and L-plate considerably. Still, if it saves my camera from a drop, it'll be worth it. 5

[Yes] This quick detachable arca mount is good to go. Light weight and strong is how I describe it. It has no flex. I'm using it on a 15 pound prs rim fire and it is rock solid. I trust it . 5

[0.545 lb] I use the Kirk sling strap and QR system for my 150-600 Sigma lens. This is a pretty heavy lens to carry so I wanted it off my neck and on my shoulder. It works so well that I wanted to use the sling for the camera even when I have another lens attached. I have a QR plate on the bottom of the camera all the time to attach to my tripod. So, this piece simply connects to the QR plate on the camera, regardless of what lens I have attached. Works like a charm. The main reason for getting the camera to my side instead of around my neck on my front is to allow me to carry my field glasses for birding. I couldn't do that before. This clamp solves that problem. Kirk products are outstanding. 5

[Yes] This sturdy little clamp gives you the means to hang anything with an Arca-Swiss plate off your QD sling. You do have Arca plates on everything, right? And, if you like slings, you do have QD slings, right? 5
